Great experience. Friendly and knowledgeable guide. - Part was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had time during our margarita workshop to learn more about the island and get additional recommendations for places to visit. Highly recommend this tour.

Mayan Chocolate Experience - Wonderful tour learning about Mayan history with chocolate. Friendly staff. Paty, our guide, was fantastic. She led us in making our Mayan chocolate bars and shockingly good chocolate margaritas. Each in ingredient in the Mayan chocolate was explained and it was fun creating our own chocolate to take home. Relatively short time commitment, so can be combined with other activities is you're doing more than one thing a day.

Fantastic tour & class! - The margarita & chocolate making class was a fantastic experience! Angel, our tour guide & teacher, is a Mayan descendant & was very educational & fun! The chocolate was delicious & we had a huge sense of accomplishment, after making our own! The chocolate margarita was awesome too! Lovely facility, including a bar with swings for seats & a fantastic gift shop! Family-friendly, if you'd prefer. Angel's English was great too! Add this tour & class to your travel itinerary & don't forget to ask for Angel!

Highly recommended Chocolate Tour - What a great experience! We ended up with a private tour because the ship docked late that day. Paty was a wonderful tour guide. She shared a lot of information about chocolate and was so patient with us as we were trying to mix our chocolates in our little bowls. We were well-cared-for and had some satisfying chocolate as well as a chocolate margarita! Even had the option of a chocolate frappe for one of us who did not drink.

Fun experience! - Paty was an excellent guide! Making the chocolate was really fun, and we learned a lot about the Mayan culture in the process. We also made chocolate margaritas and learned a lot about how tequila is made on The island. We drove from our apartment in San Miguel, but you could easily take a cab here from the cruise port. There were both couples and a family who participated in the chocolate bar making experience. Overall this was a fun experience that was worth doing.
