Spectacular Snorkeling - The locations we visited to snorkel were spectacular. Our guide Simon was very friendly and attentive. Our boat Captain Noah kept us safe in the choppy waters.

Good tour operator - We were scheduled to go to the south part of the island, the port authority closed the south end due to strong winds and high surf. We ended up going to three other locations. The three alternative sites were good, but not as good as we've experienced on the south end. The boat operators were wonderful; very nice. However, the driver who took us to and from the launch site was quite rude. I would go with this tour operator again, just hoping that we got a different driver.

Customer service? - A bit disappointed with this one. The snorkeling portion was good. Gio and Jesus took care of us well. There were several little children and inexperienced people from another family and they were very attentive to them. Unfortunately this ment less time for our group and limited what we would do. Overall the experience on and in the water was very good. We saw fish including barracuda and stingrays. Not as many colorful fish as there were in the past. Seeing the starfish was very nice. No turtles. At the end, we were treated to handmade salsa and guacamole make right on the boat! The disappointment was on land before the snorkeling. Finding Carla was not difficult. We were made to wait for enough people to fill the van. And I mean FILL the van. Someone, I believe a guest, said it was time to go. A man I later learned to be the driver took off weaving his way through stores never checking to see if we were following. We emerged on the street to find a minivan that has seen much better days. My son and I are not big people and they thought it was acceptable to group us with 6 large adults in a van built for seven. I was not the only person concerned as a woman in the group said the van was not large enough for all of us. The driver spoke no English and his only words were “vamonos” aggressively spoken repeatedly as we tried to load the van. There were literally not enough seats forcing us to be on top of each other and one person to be on the floor. Once at the dock we were not greeted my anyone. I found a woman who appeared to be checking in people. I tried to tell her we needed to check in and she sternly replied she was working with someone and I needed to wait. When she was ready for us she found my name on her list and asked for payment. I told her our trip was prepaid. She gruffly said I would need to present my receipt. This was not part of the emailed instructions I received. Thankfully, I was able to find an electronic copy. A few minutes later Gio introduced himself as our guide and the trip began to get better. Gio and Jesus were good to us and understood customer service. The shore team needs improvement. Especially the driver.

Hide and seek - Good luck in finding the place. Even if transportation was included you will probably have to pay for a taxi twice. Once to go to the specified marina and another one 1 hour later to reach the real destination. No phone number to reach the operator. The only positive note is that once on the boat everything was perfect with a great guide.

Do not recommend - The lady organizing the tours is super cheap. We got picked up in an old van. The lady then shoved 16 tourists and 3 staff into a small boat meant to fit 12 plus the staff. Our boat was the slowest one to every destination because it was carrying too much weight. And if you’re expecting drinks, forget about it. They literally had 1 tequila bottle with enough alcohol for 3 shots. The tour guides did the best that they could given the circumstances but this company is extremely cheap and I would not recommend. The captain was also very unhappy with the organizer because he knew there were too many people on the boat. Do not recommend.

round before booking your snorkel trip. - The boat crew was not very professional or helpful. I have been on snorkel trips in Cozumel that were much better, however, I can't remember their name. Most of the snorkel trips visit the same locations.

Very underwhelming! - I received an email the day before saying because of the winds we couldn’t go the southern part of the island and see the reefs and famous sand bar but they would take us the northern part of the island to snorkel there. Instead of canceling I decided to go anyway. Well, we didn’t go to the North end. We left the marina and went a couple hundred yards out near the cruise ships for our first stop. I was like seriously and asked them why we weren’t going to the north end. Our boat guides didn’t speak much English but got Carla on the phone. Carla said that we would have 3 other stops to snorkel. Well, we headed south for our second stop not far from the sandbar. The water was a bit choppy but not too bad. I’m not sure why we couldn’t go to the famous reefs and sandbar. Our 3rd stop was literally a few minutes by boat from our second stop. I didn’t even go in. Our last stop was on the way back at a site where there was a sunken boat. Really not that exciting. They then brought out a bag of corn chips and guacamole and we had some beer. Overall, a very underwhelming experience. If you get an email the day before saying that they aren’t going to the reefs and sandbar, definitely cancel. It’s not worth your money to go out to some random sites. Whoever decides to close the sandbar and reefs on a beautiful day, shame on you!
