Book something else - We booked this excursion for one our port stops on our cruise. This excursion started off on the wrong foot. The driver was 20 minutes late for our 10:30 meet up. The vehicle for our family of 4 was an old, rusted Jeep with worn out, dirty torn upholstery. Gnats were flying all inside the vehicle. These gnats Infested clothes and hair. First stop was the Tequila Mayan Museum with Tequila tasting and the usual sales pitch after the tasting. Then, a sampling of beef or chicken tacos. After, chocolate tasting was in another area. We then went to the Playa Chen Rio, a little saltwater pool. This was not a sight worth seeing. We could not go to the Tequila Beach Club because the weather was too windy. The driver drove us to another beach with some outdoor souvenir vendors. Then, lunch at the San Martin beach restaurant for lunch which is included in the price. Choice of beef, chicken or fish tacos or fajitas. No drinks included. Although, you can bring your own water bottle. There are dirty restrooms and more souvenir shops there. After, we went El Mirador, a rock formation which is the highest point in Cozumel. More souvenir items there. Then, the driver drove us back to port area of Cozumel, where there are many colorful shops and restaurants in the plaza. We should have just stayed in the port plaza and explored the shops, restaurants and museum instead of wasting our time and money on this excursion. I do not recommend this tour at all because there really is not much to see in Cozumel. The water is nice, but the beaches are not pristine and pretty. All the man-made structures and signs are shoddy looking and really not tourist friendly.
