Family - Excellent place to spend with the family, a place with a relaxing atmosphere, the attention was excellent and the snorkeling was amazing, our guide was Daniel he did an excellent job and showed us everything inside Del Mar, a highly recommended place to visit.

A terrific day out for anyone who enjoys snorkeling - We had a wonderful day out at the Park; snorkeling amongst an array of colorful fish and the underwater statues in clear turquoise water was the highlight of our day. The sea lion display was amazing and should not be missed.

Easy and fun! - Great time! Easy set up and had access to all the amenities. Daniel and William helped us the most and were knowledgeable about everything. Thank you for a great vacation day!

Snorkeling and lunch excursion - Daniel was an outstanding guide. Fish are right by the shore. The food included was amazing,the fish tacos were the catch of the day,seasoned fries were delicious. If you order a burger make sure to specify well done or medium rare.

Save your money - The area was nice for snorkeling, but the park experience was not enjoyable. It felt dirty and not well taken care of. Chairs fell apart when you sat on them! Drinks were also pretty bad with this experience. Would not do this again.

Mediocre Tour - Best part of this tour was snorkeling. The fish are bountiful and gorgeous. We’ve been visiting this park for years. It’s quite run down now. Don’t rush to see the sea lion show. There used to be several sea lions performing and we could take pictures at the end. We saw one sea lion and no pictures. We stayed on the left side of the park to snorkel and hang out so this review is based on that. We thought we were dining at the buffet like previous visits but this time, we were assigned the Crab restaurant; a very run down eatery with minimal meal. We were disappointed with this tour. Know what you’re booking at Chankanaab as there are several tours.

Horrible food and service - I was really looking forward to this, but unfortunately it wasn't great. When we arrived, we had to wait with a group of others for a tour guide, who walked us around a bit and showed us the park. We then had to pay an extra $10 per person (I did read that so it wasn't a surprise) and we got a locker and snorkel gear. The loungers were a bit uncomfortable and some were broken, and aome they wouldnt let you put up umbrellas due to the wind, so they were in full sun. The beach is rocky and you have to go down stairs to get in the water. The snorkeling was good, we did enjoy that. Then we went to the Happy Crab to get our meal that was included. We waited a half hour before anyone came to take our order, and they weren't even super busy. We were given 3 choices, tacos, fajitas, or quesadillas. I chose the fajitas and my husband got the quesadillas. I also ordered a side of guacamole, which i had to pay an extra $13 for. It took about 25 minutes to get our drinks, a soda that tasted watered down in a tiny plastic cup, and 45 minutes to get the guacamole. After an hour had passed, my husband went to ask when our food would be ready and they said 2 minutes. The guy came out with our food, but asked me if tacos were okay instead of the fajitas. I asked how much longer to get fajitas and he said 15 minutes. I took the tacos, which only had a little bit of beef, and a spoonful of rice and beans on the side. We each took one bite and that was it. It was terrible. We got up and my husband paid, and tipped the guy $2 which was generous for the horrible service and horrible food that we didn't even eat, and wasted 2 hours of our time. Aside from the snorkeling, our day at chankanoob was disappointing to say the least.

Never received our passes. Need a refund - We never received our passes. You took our money and sent the passes the next day. We had to purchase tickets thru any venue. We would like a refund.

Stay away! - DO NOT GO TO THIS PARK. We were treated like criminals because we got confused as to which restaurant we could eat at even though they all have the SAME food. We were then FORCED to pay $99 for 2 meals even though we paid for all inclusive and then they also charged us an extra $20 just to enter the park on top of what we paid for this excursion. It was not a pleasant experience. Staff was very rude and the food was disgusting. The cheese dip was basically water. The tequila was also so watered down that you could barely taste it.

Terrible place . Rundown. Bad - Terrible . Nothing was correct Rock wall. No beach. No walkway to beach. Terrible place very bad run down. Notaken care of at all
