Great Tour Guide!! - Really enjoyed the tour and thought that Carlos was a great guide. He was highly knowledgable and a pleasure to be around. I’m usually wandering around sites and ruins on my own, but used a guide for the first time and really thought Carlos was amazing. We learned a lot of important history that made us appreciate the sites far more. It would have been less of an experience without Carlos. Tour was worth it!

AWESOME tour with REAL knowledge - Carlos is AWESOME. He is fully prepared, bringing with him extra materials to give clear images of how things were in the past. He also doesn’t make it look like a movie, he is very objective and accurate in his explanations. He knows a lot about history and Mayan culture and is well read in up to date literature. He is not just another tour guide, he has passion for what he explains and what he shows. He is infinitely patient and has actual passion for these ancient civilisations. He also gave explanations of the flora and fauna of the region, but not to overwhelm us. It was a good amount, concentrating more on the civilisation and history, which I found fascinating. 100% recommend this.

Wonderful tour to Calakmul. - We had a wonderful tour to Calakmul, Carlos is an exceptional guide! We were worried that a day trip from Bacalar to Calakmul would be too long, but Carlos made it perfect. He was always on time, very entertaining, he drives smoothly and safelty. He gave us the most interesting explanations about the ruins and many insights. Professional and friendly, he is available to answer all the questions, and he is very nice to chat with. I would totally recommend this tour.

Highlight of our Yucatán trip - Carlos is an amazing guide! We visited 2 other ruins before Calakmul during our time in Mexico and it was by far the best site we visited.. not only because it was so stunning (views from top of temples!) but because we had Carlos as our guide. He responded very quick on email and watsapp and tailor made our tour to collect us from XPUJIL and take us to Bacalar afterwards which was very appreciated after 3 weeks using collectivos! Good driver in an air conditioned vehicle. Carlos is so knowledgable and taught us a lot about Mayan history - stuff we didn’t know even after visiting other sites and museums around Mexico. He’s a very kind guy and we will remember this day forever. Thank you!!
