Super nice place - Well out of Belize City (a bit over 1 hour) and down a long unpaved road off the main road is a BEAUTIFUL little resort which provides good food, free drinks (think Pina Coladas) good swimming (Bring water shoes if you have them as the big rocks in the water are slippery at times), and a very nice 40 minute or so Kayak tour (Good exercise). The water is wonderful and NOT salty.

BOOK IT!!! - I honestly can't recommend this excursion enough. There were 6 of us in a group ranging from age 23 to 73. I was worried about my aunt being able to kayak with us but they had both single and tandem kayaks to choose from so she was just fine. You do have to leave the port to find the meeting point but they give very detailed directions to find them. The drive sounds long but we had an AMAZING tour guide, Elliott, who gave so much information about the area that it felt like just 10 minutes had passed. The tacos are awesome, the drinks were flowing, and the water was beyond beautiful. The kayaking itself was very calm and relaxed. If you're on the fence of booking, take my word for it and do it! It was a once in a lifetime experience. Sure you can stay at the cruise port but this is way more special and memorable.

Amazing BEAUTIFUL experience!!! - Awesome experience! The walk to the kiosk is about 15 minutes. The driver was great as was the tour guide. Beautiful resort! Water was gorgeous and kayaking was fun! The bathrooms and changing rooms were better than expected, clean and soap and water available to wash your hands! Amazing food and drinks too!

Lagoon and tacos - Beautiful Lagoon but you can only see seven colors if you had a drone. Loved the Lilly pads we saw while kayaking. Our guide made us leave extra early so we’re not happy about that as we felt very rushed. The tacos and pins coladas were yummy.

Terrible excursion - Too long to get there, very bumpy road, limited seating under shade, minimal lunch. Poor instructions on meeting point and name of vender.

Oversold tour and did not have space for us. - We bought our excursions over 3 months ago. When we showed up, the tour operator had oversold the excursion, and they did not have space for us. However, he did have our names down. So he would have ran into the issue anyways. He blamed it on Viator, and that they are hard to work with. I am an ex travel agent and have booked hundreds of tours via Viator, and have never had an issue with them. We would teamed up with another excursion and had to go drop them off first, and then to proceed to ours. They never took ownership, just kept blaming it on other things.
