- CRPJ+C7J - After picking you up, we will arrive at the jetty and cross the canal with a small ferry. We will walk about 100 meters until we reach our home. Here, we’ll continue with a small exhibition of old photographs, and a talk about the history of Quepos and its interesting connection with the Banana Company.
Once the presentation is over, our guests will learn two very important things that helped thousands of Ticos overcome the socio-economic crisis during the pandemic: we will start with a small craft class, teaching how to make a bracelet using the age-old technique of macramé, very popular among Costa Rican artisans; finally, the tour ends with a Tico cooking class and a snack: the owner of the house will teach you how to grind corn and make the classic Tico empanada or a homemade tortilla “aliñada” (seasoned) and of course how to grind and brew coffee, Tico style.
