Great experience! - The experience was amazing! Juarez our tour guide was very knowledgeable about what we were seeing. It was incredible how he was able to spot the animals. I am so glad I decided to hire a guide. It made the experience so much better. I would definitely recommend Juarez as a guide and friends to visit the park. Well worth it!

Worth every dollar - We were trying to decide whether to hike alone or hire a guide. I am so glad we hired Javier to do a personal tour. His understanding of the park and his keen eye made the experience so worth while. When we bring our family in the future, we will require Javier. 😊

We would do it again!! - My wife and I had the most amazing experience, we had thoughts about walking the park alone without a guide and last minute changed our minds. We are so happy we did, Javier gave us such an amazing experience! His ability to find animals is second to none, and his friendly personality kept the tour fun & enjoyable the whole time. I highly recommend when choosing your tour guide pick Javier!

Javier was the best! - We met up with Javier, our tour guide, at Manuel Antonio National park. It was a private tour for just our family. Javier was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and patient. He helped us find so many animals we would have missed on our own. His telescope was perfect for seeing animals way up on trees. He took amazing photos for us. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would not have had the same experience without Javier.

Manuel Antonio National Park tour - An amazing experience for our family of 11! Javier was an excellent guide for our tour. His knowledge & attention to details made this a truly memorable experience for us all! Don’t even try to tour Manuel Antonio Park without a guide. You will miss so much wildlife otherwise. Highly recommend Javier as your guide!

Five star experience - We had a wonderful tour of Manuel Antonio yesterday! Our guide, Javier, was so knowledgeable and kind! We had a group of 11, ranging in age from 9 years to 67, and he took the time to engage with each member in our group. I strongly recommend booking with this group (and request Javier if you can!) We went on a Monday morning, and while there were some crowded areas, that was mostly due to everyone stopping to see wildlife in certain spots. I never felt like we weren’t able to see the sights due to the crowd. The kids (and myself) absolutely loved the stop at the beach— the views of the rock formations were breathtaking, and the water in this area was warm and peaceful— only rolling waves, so it felt safe with the kids. Absolutely would book a tour with this group again. Javier helped from start (navigating the tricky parking situation) to finish (sending us all of the beautiful images he took, both of wildlife and candids of our group. 5 stars all the way.

Manuel Antonio National Park with Javier! - I initially didn’t want a guide, but my husband insisted, and I’m so glad he did! We bypassed the bandidos selling $100pp "group" tours at the public beach entrance and drove to the end of the road, where we were lucky to find Javier. With excellent English, Javier took us on a private tour and shared the park’s history, explained the local wildlife in fascinating detail (including fun facts like how long food takes to pass through a sloth’s four stomachs), and even indulged our curiosity about Costa Rica’s political and economic landscape. Despite the rain, Javier's laser-sharp vision spotted lizards, snakes, two- and three-toed sloths, white-faced monkeys, and much more. He led us to gorgeous beaches and even watched over our packs while we swam. A hidden perk is that Javier is an avid nature photographer. When not leading tours, he uses his Nikon to shoot wildlife. During our walk, he not only used his telescope to show us animals up close but also captured photos and videos with his phone, which he kindly AirDropped to us at the end. These made for extra special memories of the animals and behaviors we witnessed during our trip. Javier was an outstanding guide and seems to be a truly fun person! I have traveled all over the world and would consider the quality of Javier's service, along with his personality, to be among my best experiences. We were so lucky to find him on a rainy day, and next time, I will definitely seek him out again for a truly special Manuel Antonio experience.

Highly recommend the private tour! - Highly recommend, without a guide you will miss all of Manuel Antonio’s incredible wildlife! Our guide Javier was the best, especially appreciated how flexible and accommodating he was which is so important when traveling with very young children. His English is perfect, he’s knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, he’s great with kids, genuine and like-able. 10 out of 10

Amazing spotter - Javier could spot and find the most amazing creatures and plants. The park is fantastic on its own, but it would have been just a hike without him. So many things to see and learn. He was patient with his explanations on how the ecosystems support each other and the history of park too. He’s a friendly guide who personalized the experience.

Loved this tour! - Amazing guide - Javier could spot just about any animal, which we would have never seen had it not been for his keen eyes and knowledge of the local fauna and flora - Personable and kind - fluent in English and Spanish - took pictures of all of the animals we saw and sent us the pics at no additional charge - Your was about 4 hours long, included a large cup of fresh fruit and juice/water - Ended your at the most beautiful beaches (YES more than one) in Costa Rica - Amazing place and an amazing guide - Thank you
