We are going to walk through the main trails of the best National Park of Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio Park to find out all wildlife and interesting plants that inhabit the variety of ecosystems found in this Humid Tropical Forest.
Throughout the way we will be able to spot different kind of animals in their natural habitat such as sloths, monkeys, iguanas, birds, spiders, frogs and snakes as well as many insects, we will behold the animals through my Ultra HD SWAROVSKI SCOPE from where I will take you awesome pictures and videos of the animals.
Then, after to hike for around 2 hours we will take a quick to charge our energy right before to get to the beach where we will look for the last animals of the hike and talk about the interesting details of Cathedral Point which connects two of the best beaches in Costa Rica. On a map I will point you out other trails and way back by your own or you have the option to go back with me.
Finally, we will finish up with a friendly Pura Vida and an great feeling of satisfaction for the experience.

Our operation center office located on your left 50 meters before the park entrance and right next to Donde Alex Restaurant will be our meeting point. There’s located the safest parking lot in case you’re driving a car. It cost 5000 colones for the whole day. Please try to avoid all the scammers.

Excellent value for money, we saw so many cool things! - Fabulous! Our guide 'Mop' was experienced, knowledgeable, and his ability to spot wildlife was super human! You cannot do this reserve without a guide & their telescope you will see absolutely zero wildlife. And the amount we saw with Mop made it great value for money. Don't go early, that's when the crowds are, and you're shaded by canopy a lot anyway so can avoid the heat. We did 10am and it was perfect, some other groups but not too many.

Outstanding tour - Mauro provided an outstanding tour of the flora and fauna of Manuel Antonio. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable, and was more then happy to take pictures through his scope for us. He had a strong report with the other guides, which meant he got a number of good tips on where to find hard to spot species. I would strongly recommend going as early as possible, before the tour bus crowds show up.

Great guide for Manuel Antonio park. - Mauro was an excellent guide. We saw lots of wildlife and he gave great information. He made great pictures using the scope and shared them with us. He was very professional.

Great private tour and guide. - Private tour with Mauro was excellent! He has a wonderful skill in both finding and educating wildlife and birds. Many guides and tour group follow the universal trail in the park and they all help each others in spotting wildlife. What makes Mauro stand out is his personality and he has a wonderful high end spotting scope which he can use to take pictures using your phone. I know it’s tough but take the 7am tour…it’s cooler, less crowded and the animals/ birds are much more active.

Great private tour with Mauro - We had an awesome time with Mauro. He was very knowledgeable and has a lot of patience in helping you to see the wildlife. He has a very high quality scope and takes incredible pictures with your camera through the lens. He’s very personal and we give him a high recommendation.

Great experience! Mauro... - Great experience! Mauro was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were glad for the tip to avoid parking scammers. It was great to be able to see the animals from Mauros scope and to have the photos he took provided at the end of the tour at no extra cost. We were glad we did the early tour so that we could eat lunch (you can’t take your own food in) and enjoy the beaches in the park after. We were in the park almost until close. The only thing we wish we had known sooner was that they don’t allow you to take plastic into the park so make sure if you plan to take your own water take a reusable container.

Sloths, monkeys and more! - Mauro is an excellent guide! We would not have seen so many fascinating things without his knowledge, patience and telescope. This was our favorite experience of our vacation. We saw multiple Sloths, even a baby!, monkeys, birds nesting, lizards that were actually cute….and more! Go early in the day - we went at 7 AM and it was cool throughout most of our tour.

Mauro is definitely the best guide in the park - Mauro shared a a ton of information on the local wildlife and was able to spot so many animals that we would have never seen on our own. A guide is key to having an awesome experience in Manuel Antonio and Mauro is the guy.

A must - Our guide was fantastic, you could tell he really enjoyed nature and explaining the animals and the history of the park to us. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the park, otherwise you will be looking at trees, bushes, the creek and you will miss EVERYTHING. He took all the pics and shared them with the group, giving you the opportunity to really enjoy the tour.

Excellent guide and experience - Mauro was the ultimate professional. Great communication, on time, extraordinary guide. As someone else mentioned in a previous post, we probably would have only seen a very small fraction of the animals we did see, had we been on our own.. He even helped other guides by spotting animals that they did not (and by translating in English some words they did not know). We saw almost all the animals we had hoped to see, got dozens of great pictures, learned many new facts, and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.
