Boat tour experience - Our boat tour with Jeison was outstanding. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about protecting the mangroves. We saw monkeys, lizards, iguanas, a sloth, and even crocodiles while learning a lot along the way. You can really feel that this team cares deeply about nature and its conservation. An unforgettable experience — pura vida!

Kayak Tour - This kayak tour through the mangroves was such a pleasant surprise. The water was calm, the scenery beautiful, and we saw plenty of animals — from hawks and iguanas to monkeys and raccoons. Sergio guided us with patience, explained clearly, and kept the group at a respectful distance from the wildlife. It felt genuine, safe, and very well organized. Highly recommended!

A very nice experience we saw many animals - We really enjoyed the tour of the mangrove. We managed to observe a boa and even a velvet, something we never imagined to see so closely in nature. Jason, our guide, explained everything calmly and answered every question. It was an exciting experience and at the same time very safe thanks

The best tour, full of learning - The Ladies mangrove tour was a unique experience. We were able to see several alligators in their natural habitat and learn a lot about them. Guide Jason was excellent, always attentive and with very good explanations. Rating that he knows a lot about the area. Definitely a walk I would recommend to anyone

Five Star Experience! - If you are trying to weigh between tour operators, this is the one you have been looking for. Our guide, Jayson, provided us with in depth knowledge about the Mangroves, their history and his own relationship with the land. This is not an on your right you will see this or that kind of tour.
The Mangroves are a living body in constant movement. It takes an educated eye to spot a Northern Yellow Boa on a limb extending over the water. I am terrified of snakes and I felt at ease as he guided us along the water way. Jayson’s knowledge of the Flora and Fauna is impressive. His is command of English is strong. As lifelong students of foreign languages, we loved the ability to learn an entirely new vocabulary while trading grammatical questions as we paddled along amongst the breath-taking surroundings.
The water is calm, flat and not very deep. We saw 16-18 (we lost count) different species on our two hour journey. There was no rush and no pressure to keep moving as we photographed to our hearts content.
As we arrived back to the immaculate facilities, we were treated to a Pineapple grown right on the adjoining farm. The Pineapple was better than any Hawaiian Pineapple I have eaten.
On a final note. This is an operator that refuses to catcall the monkeys to come down and feed from a boat. This is not an acceptable practice in Costa Rica and it is simply done to generate bigger tips. Please do not contribute to the problem.

Peaceful kayaking surrounded by wildlife - We had such a wonderful time on the kayak tour with Jose. From the very beginning he showed great respect for nature and reminded us to keep a quiet distance so the animals would not be disturbed. Thanks to this, we were able to spot red-rumped tanagers, white herons, black hawks, long-nosed bats, capuchin monkeys, a rainbow boa, a squirrel, and many more species.
What impressed me most was the difference compared to other groups that were getting too close or being noisy. Jose took those moments to explain why it’s important to protect the animals and observe them responsibly. You can really tell he cares about conservation.
Kayaking through the mangroves was calm and authentic — no engines, just paddling quietly and learning about the ecosystem around us. If you care about the environment and want a beautiful, genuine experience, this is the perfect choice. Bring binoculars if you can!

A Kayak Tour That Truly Respects Wildlife - Our mangrove kayak tour was simply amazing. Sergio, our guide, stood out for his knowledge and professionalism. At one point, we noticed another company feeding monkeys to attract them for photos. Sergio immediately gave a clear and respectful talk, explaining why this practice is harmful and why monkeys should never be treated like pets. You could even see the other guide looked uncomfortable, but I admired Sergio’s courage to stand up for what’s right. Thanks to him, we left not only with great memories but also with a deeper respect for nature.
