Great experience. Lots of wildlife! - Great experience with our guide! Dillon has an amazing eye and was able to point out wildlife we would never have seen on our own. He knows the park well therefore was about to route us to minimize the crowds too. We would definitely recommend him!

Out of this world experience! - The national park was amazing. What absolutely made it the most incredible experience was our guide Dylan. While being very enthusiastic about his job, that was accompanied with an eye like a hawk. With Dylan’s expertise and experience we were able to see so many joys and wonders of the wildlife in Costa Rica. He took amazing photos on my phone, photos that I will be able to show anyone and be able to reflect on a great experience. I highly recommend this tour but not just to do it, to have Dylan be your guide so you can experience what I was able to. Dylan is your guy!

We booked a private tour... - We booked a private tour and had an incredible time. Our guide, Rafael, was knowledgeable, funny, and quite the photographer. He tailored the tour to what we wanted it to be (seeing any/all animals and lots of learning!), teaching us so much about the many plants, animals and insects we saw and helped us take amazing pictures. Somehow he managed to keep talking/teaching all while scanning for the next incredible thing. We truly can't recommend this tour and Rafael enough! If you have a chance to book a private tour and request Rafael, you won't be disappointed!

Great tour! - The tour was wonderful and so was our guide. Highly recommend! We would have seen almost none of the wildlife without a guide to help point it out and use their scope.

Calling the tours fantastic does not come near describing just how great they were. - Arranged private tours. It's worth every penny of the cost. Other groups would have to share the spotting scope and get a matter of seconds. We spent as much time as we wanted with each siting and move at our own pace. Itinerary: Manuel Antonio (with Paolo), night (with Roger) and mangrove (with Lalo) tours and morning birding (with Robert) . I won't go into the specifics because I'd quickly run out of superlatives and then only be repeating myself in order to describe our experience..... Bottom line: The guides we had were amazing, and by amazing I mean Every. Single. One: Delightful company. I'd have a beer with any of them at anytime. Incredibly skilled guides. You'd be strolling along talking about nothing in particular and they'd suddenly freeze and call out something. If you watched them it became clear how they did it. As conversational and relaxed we were on our "strolls" their head and eyes were on a swivel scanning the trees, the ground and the sky. Truly amazing. One example of many: Note the picture of the insect on a leaf. Our Manual Antonio guide, Paolo, picked the thing up at about 20 yards and put the scope on it in about 3 seconds. Imagine how many animals they were able to find that were larger than a breadbox. And because I can't resist creatively labeling the photo, hope you like the Tou Twocans......

Eduardo was an amazing... - Eduardo was an amazing guide. Quickly pointing out howler monkeys, sloths, birds, crabs, snakes, and more. We wouldn’t have seen a fraction of what he pointed out if we didn’t have him.

Great tour! We saw so much wildlife! - You should expect to see a lot of wildlife, monkeys, crabs, sloths, as well as education about the botanical life. The lookout points of the ocean was spectacular. Manuel was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our tour

Pros and Cons but worth it - Overall a good morning/day and would recommend but found pros and cons to the trip: cons * booked far in advance so tried to reconfirm through viator app 3 times in the run up to the trip which went unanswered so found their number on viator which did get a very quick response. * the tour was sold/advertised as 2-3 hours, ours was 2 from being picked up but only 90 minutes with the guide inside the park. pros * we would never have seen the animals we did without the guide and his scope. * the guide gave lots of info * we had the peace of mind our tickets to the get in the park were pre booked. * after the guide/tour finished we had a great time chilling on the beach and further exploring at our own pace before leaving when we chose to. not related to the tour but one other point to mention; as you can only take a reusable water bottle in and no food, the cafe in the park has an absolute monopoly! we just wanted an ice cream due to the heat but the que was about 30-40 minutes and the prices for anything was sky high! £5 for a coke, £10 for a slice of awful looking pizza, £8-10 for a cake/pastry etc. The above being said, i’d still recommend as it’s a beautiful park
