Great and attentive guide! Amazing and unexpected adventure off the beaten path! - This was a fantastic experience! Our guide went out of the way to make our horseback tour enjoyable and memorable! He even took pictures with my phone for us all for about a half an hour! The tour itself was not overly glamorous. We were unbearably hot and did not ride through jungle paths. We stayed on private dirt access roads. I'm an experienced rider and I'm glad the tour walked where it did, because the cobblestone paths were plenty challenging. They didn't stick us on broken spirited ponies that just walk in a straight line either. Our horses were well behaved, but definitely had spirit! We were given the freedom to safely ride them at whatever pace we were comfortable with. It felt more like a trail ride with new friends than a tour! Give it a try if you're looking for something outside the beaten path.

Highlight of our trip!! - I cannot recommend this trip enough! Hugo was such an amazing guide who was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and funny, and made this such a special experience. He taught us so much about the history of the region and was a great teacher when it came to riding the horses. Along the ride through the beautiful rainforest, he went out of his way to take us down a hidden path to a river for a swim, and took lots of awesome photos for us. Hotel pickup/dropoff is super convenient and the air-conditioned transportation was excellent. I highly recommend this tour and would absolutely do it again!! Thank you Hugo!!!

BEST horseriding experience, just book it now!! - Just WOW! We wanted to go horseback riding in the jungle and this tour was just amazing. First, we were really lucky to have the guide just for ourselves (my bf and I) and HUGO made our experience just wonderful. He was kind, polite, caring, excellent teacher and he made sure we felt safe during the whole trip. He taught us some interesting facts about his village here in Costa Rica (named Londres) and it was just so pleasant to have him as a guide. Half way through the tour, we stopped at a magical spot to swim and Hugo took pictures/videos of us. To finish this amazing day, we were taken to the Tucanes Tour's restaurant where we had delicious chicken. See pictures to give you a taste ;) WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR and if you get HUGO, well I guarantee you you're gonna have a blast and you won't regret it!

Mesmerizing jungle ride - Giving it 5 stars because we loved every second of this ride. My teen kids enjoyed the cool forest and regreshing waterfall dip. The horses were gentle and well trained. The authentic food provided after was delicious and the to & from van ride was very pleasant.

A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE - It's quite a drive to get there but well worth it. The horse ride is great fun but the swim at the waterfall is extra special. Our guide Hugo was very friendly and helpful. helping us take pictures and video whilst in the water. highly recommend it.

Fun times with horseback riding and waterfall. - Cesar and Jairo were excellent guides! They were patient with all the guests and very laid back with the experience. They pointed out birds and plants along the way and allowed the group to spend as much time as desired at the waterfall for swimming. They even took the time to take pictures of my boyfriend and I with my phone so I would have all the memories. Lunch afterward was great--typical Costa Rican food. Thanks for a great time!

Horse riding with Tucanes Tours - This experience is amazing! Definitely recommend. The guide Hugo was really knowledgeable and along with driver George, they were both friendly and helpful. The horses are calm and smart, they definitely do the work! The waterfall is brilliant as a refreshing stop. The trail through the jungle had so much to see and some great views of the river and the jungle; as well as wild life spotting - we saw Toucans! Great for riders of all abilities. Lunch was tasty too!

Wonderful activity for Manuel Antonio area - Our horseback riding tour with Hugo was one of our favorites while visiting Costa Rica. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the country and town of Londres. He gave us a short horse riding lesson, which helped us feel very comfortable and at ease during our ride. The waterfall/swimming area during the ride was picturesque. We definitely recommend anyone who visits Manuel Antonio to book the horseback riding tour with Tucanes tours.

Great views, great guides! - The guides were friendly and wonderful. Pickup was on time and everything went smooth! My horse was especially sweet , and it was my first time ever horseback riding! The riding itself was a tad uncomfortable for me physically (hurt my knees) and I’m not sure if that’s due to the stirrup height or what. I’d definitely recommend wearing pants (I worse shorts). The trail was beautiful, there were some amazing views of the river. The nature was so nice and i found the whole ride to be therapeutic. The waterfall was the perfect place to cool down!! Lunch was great and just what we needed after the ride. Super nice people, would recommend doing this!
