Calling all Coeliacs! Highly recommend… - Coeliacs…! You are catered for so well on this experience. We have one Coeliac in the family and she was so well looked after. When booking I alerted them to having a Coeliac within the group and when we arrived they sort them out and walked them through what was safe (which was a lot!) and what was unsafe. They made sure that Miss Coeliac went up first before everyone (to ensure no cross contamination) and encourage her to take loads of food to make sure she would be full and satisfied - which she did and she was very very full! The food was incredible and experience was definitely one of our favourites of the trip. It is worth it!!

Lovely night out! - Relaxing cruise with beautiful views. Dropped off at Walter Peak for a scrumptious dinner!! There is sooo much food and variety to choose from. After dinner there is a farm show which entailed a good girl named 'Kim', she rounded up the sheep. There was a sheep shearing demonstration. We were given some free time before the cruise came back to pick us up. They have blankets avaliable, which was really helpful.

Just do it - When we got to QT, we were advised to do this. However as a family with adult children, I had no real interest in visiting a farm with sheep shearing etc. So we just did a lake cruise, which took passengers to Walter Peak farm and back. One look was all it took to change my mind, so the next day we booked the gourmet bbq cruise. Again, not really expecting too much, we were amazed at the quality of food, the absolutely spectacular scenery from our table and the service. And we are tough critics! Would definitely do this again, just maybe earlier in the day as it was dark on the cruise back to QT. Well worth the money!!

Highly recommend. - This is a fabulous experience. Dinner is well organised and yummy. We enjoyed the sticky date pudding for dessert, it was the star as the other desserts weren’t great. The show after was excellent too. We went at night so didn’t get to see the rest of the farm but what we did see was beautiful. Having the staff waving to welcome you was a special touch.

Overall good - Very cool steam boat tour. Very busy buffet with very average food. Gorgeous farm and fun to walk around at the end. Very nice dog trainer who spent time talking with the kids after the show. Overall fun afternoon out with the fam.

Overcrowded steamboat experience with a decent, not exceptional BBQ dinner - The TSS Walter Peak Steamboat was packed for the evening cruise. Unlike other tours that I have taken in the day, this one felt overwhelming with the crowds. If not for the rainy day, I'm sure the views over lake Waikatipu would have been stunning. It was a nice buffet dinner at Walter Peak, with a wide range of roasted meats and sauces available. However, as I had just been to the stoker room, the quality of the meats paled in comparison. The saving grace for the dinner was definitely the toffee pudding.

Dinner at Wlater Peak High Country Farm and Cruise from Queenstown - While the cruise is worthwhile to take, the quality of dinner is not so impressive. Some of the guests in other tables talked loudly which made us very uncomfortable. We needed to ask for change a table at the inside room. Not only our table, there were two more requests for changes from other guests. The quality of foods is average.
