Book it! You won't regret it! - Fantastic day with Dean, our bus driver! He was engaging and knowledgeable with his narration through the countryside. Our second driver Alan, gave a wonderful tour through the forest. And of course the crew on both boats was fantastic. This was a tour of a lifetime. Do it! You won't regret it!

Highly recommend! - Peanut was a fabulous guide and driver - shared so much interesting info about the region’s history, culture, horticulture and wildlife. Loved her story telling and love of New Zealand. The whole journey and doubtful sound was knock out amazing. We were a small group at queenstown and for most of the time our boat was the only one in the sound. The fiords and seals and scenery were way beyond my expectations. Every leg was a trip in itself. Highly recommend!

Well organised, comfortable and informative trip - This was an amazing trip, every person involved from the first coach driver, the check in, the Manapouri boat, the Wilmott Pass drivers and the captain and his crew were all professional, good humoured and kind. The organisation was perfect, there are a lot of logistics to plan to get so many to such a remote place and it felt like a well oiled machine without ever feeling rushed. It has long been a desire to visit Doubtful Sound and it didn't disappoint, we even got a show from the dolphins, twice, on the way to and from the edge of the Tasman Sea. Brock the nature guy was knowledgeable and an able seaman on the tender we took around precipice cove and then they let us swim, pure joy. The food throughout the trip was delicious and in plentiful supply with a good choice of wines - prices were elevated as you'd expect on a captive vessel but not greedily so. Genuinely would not consider booking through anyone else. We were on the larger of the two vessels, the Navigator, comfortable, en suite rooms and a beautiful buffet evening meal, definitely the better option I think and worth the extra if you can afford. We also did the TSS Earnslaw trip ehile we were in Queenstown and did the garden to table option, again, well organised, informative with delicious food and we planted some native trees for a feel good boost. RealNZ are a genuine, ethically minded company from everything I experienced, don't hesitate to book with them.

Great trip in the rain. - Very well organised trip. We had a very wet day which made all of the waterfalls spectacular! The coaches and boats were all very clean and the boat cafe was excellent. Note they are all cashless.

Great day out on Doubtful Sound and Manapouri Lake - We took the All Day Doubtful Sound trip with Baruch from Queenstown. We had a wonderful day. It was our anniversary so made for a special day. Our guide/bus driver Baruch was excellent; friendly, fun, professional and so knowledgeable all wrapped up! We really enjoyed all Baruch's knowledge on all things Kiwi! Very careful driving, even on the bumpy windy roads (which weren't that much). Everything about the tour was organized well; buses and boats. Our guide on the Doubtful Sound cruise was excellent. The picnic lunch was delicious. We would definitely take another Realnz tour.

The day to get to... - The day to get to Doubtful sound was long but worth the drive. Lucky the weather was good but would of been better with rain to see more water falls

Crowded boats - Incredible scenery! Lovely staff, boat and bus. However it was too crowded. There was too many people for the size if the boat. It was difficult to see at times because of the crowd.
