Farm tour - Loved the sheep dog show & getting to pat the deer. Great for families. The boat trip over is also great fun & you can see the workings of the ship as you cruise the lake.

Wonderful experience - Great experience, especially the farm tour. Seeing and feeding the cattle, sheep, donkeys, and deer was special. The tour guide was informative and added some fun to the door. Watching the Australian Shepard round up the sheep was amazing.

Great experience at Walter Peak - From start to finish this was a terrific experience. We arrived at the ship watchpoint 30 minutes ahead of time as suggested, very long line. Despite the crowd, embarkment was handled well and there were plenty of seats. The TSS Earnslaw is a coal fired ship, one of the last ones in operation. We could view the engine room from above. We landed and headed to a lovely lodge overlooking the lake where we had a buffet dinner. The food was what you would expect from a buffet. After dinner, we walked to a small amphitheater where we learned about sheep herding and shearing. An experienced border collie demonstrated her herding skills. A sheep shearer explained and demonstrated shearing. A great experience.

Beautiful ship & farm tour! - We really enjoyed this afternoon. It was fascinating to watch the operation of a coal fired steamer. After a beautiful ride across the lake we landed on a farm full of adorable animals. We were lead on a tour to meet and feed cows, sheep, goats, alpaca, pigs & donkeys. Then a wash up and you sit down to a delicious tea. Afterwards there is a demonstration of sheep shearing and the dogs rounding up the sheep. It's truly impressive to see the dogs at work! Then a magical ride back across the lake to Queenstown. We would absolutely do this again!

Fun on the Farm!!! - The boat ride alone was stunning and you can see how it works and a history of the ships. We loved feeding all the animals, especially the funny Highland cows, and the show was wonderful. We learned so much and had a great time. Great family activity!

A great thing to do - The boat ride was unique and enjoyable. Upon arrival groups were separated by the activity you had booked. Some went to a barbecue and we went for the farm tour with afternoon tea. Our guide was interesting and informative. After the tour we were given afternoon tea which was excellent. Following the afternoon tea we were shown a shearing demonstration and also shown the sheep dogs in action After this it was back on the boat for our return. A very enjoyable experience.

Beautiful cruise - The Earnslaw was packed on the way to Walter Peak farm which was a bit uncomfortable. I didn't try the farm adventure or dinner but the farm looked beautiful.
