Excellent experience! - Excellent experience, right on the Queenstown quay. Terrific wrap-round film (complete with physical enhancement) before the reveal of the underwater observatory. The fish! And the cutest ever deep diving ducks! Amazing value for money.

Fascinating Short Experience - I’m so pleased we did this, First there was a great audio- visual presentation showing the pre- historic and geological history of the Queenstown area. Shown on 3 screens and with some moderate vibrations it brought the history alive. Then we spent about 15 minutes viewing the fish, eels and diving ducks from below the water. Fascinating! We were surprised at the size of the eels and the salmon and the speed of the diving ducks. This short activity added a different perspective to our visit to Queenstown.

Lovely activity - Very nice quick show which was informative and knowledgeable. Our family with 3 kids have learned many new things about Queenstown and NZL forming history. Lovely surprise watching fishes and ducks diving in the lake outside glass windows as well. Worth it to visit. Good value for money . Thank You

Great short venue worth checking out - This is more interesting than I expected. It's 30 minutes total, comprising a very interesting and well-done 15 minute video followed by 15 minutes to look through their underwater windows into the lake. We saw trout, eels, and several diving ducks. It sounds too short but 15 minutes is really all you need. The cost (as of Oct 2023) is NZ$15, which is US$9 - so it's not expensive.

Worth it and enjoyable - My friend and I took her 8 and 10 year old. We all really enjoyed it. It’s a fun, interesting experience with little surprises to keep everyone engaged. Non expensive and worth a visit. We didn’t book and had the session to ourselves. Staff are lovely. Located at the wharf, opposite Patagonia.

Fabulous Idea! - We loved the Time Tripper journey back through time. The information was great and the three screens were amazing. We were disappointed however that the brochure said 'Experience 90 million years in just 30 minutes.' We were out in 20 minutes and that included the pre-talk and seeing the fish and eels being fed at the end. I realise the price is reflective of the experience bt we had expected the full 30 minutes of time tripping.

Something to do on a rainy cold day - It was a great way to get the history of Queenstown and would entertain kids. It's pretty short show. Staff super nice. Hard to find but shares a booth with boating activities so look hard for sign.

Meant for families - Kind of lame. The graphics weren’t the best. Could have spent more time on the area’s history. Last few minutes are advertisements. When they feed the fish the curtain isn’t up yet so you miss most of the fish. Children might enjoy. Affordable too for families.

Missed opportunity - We got stuck behind a really slow car that we were unable to over take. We called to ask for a refund as we weren’t going to make it in time for the show but were advised no. Pretty disappointing considering we couldn’t change our show time
