- 361 Coronet Peak Road - We’ll take you up to our launch area on Coronet Peak, a quick 20 minute drive in our courtesy transport and proceed to get the equipment ready while our ground crew gets you into a helmet and harness. Your pilot will then take you through a briefing to explain what you need to do and then it’s time to launch into the sky and fly free like a bird. Landing takes place on the valley floor about 3.7 km away from the take-off point. We pack up the equipment and take you back to town.

Unbelievable experience! - I've done today my first Hang-gliding with Skytrek and what an amazing activity !
So much fun and adrenaline.
Taking off from Coronet peak offers you an incredible view.
You are flying over 2500ft, over these stunning mountains.
The weather conditions were literally perfect and John my instructor was so friendly.
I've been in Queenstown so far for 1 year and a half and done many activities but this one let me speachless.
Thank you very much to all the Skytrek team for your professionalism and your kindness.
Can't wait to fly again now...
Totally worth it :)

Incredible Experience Hang Gliding! - I had the most incredible experience hang gliding with Skytrek!! It was thrilling! Fly with Andrea if you can! He was an excellent, fun, and clear instructor. The flight was exhilarating from take-off, taking in the amazing view, doing some tricks (just tell them you want some!), and landing smoothly. Andrea also had great picture and video ideas -- you'll want them to take with you!

Awesome experience! - My brother and I went in April, we liked that this company starts from a higher elevation. My guide was Andre and he did a great job making me feel comfortable and making sure I understood the take off process. Once airborne he had great photo pose ideas. It is $60 for the photos.

Totally Amazing! - My husband talked me into hang gliding, oh my what a rush! Actually running off the mountain top was way easier than I thought it would be, you are flying before you even have time to think about it. The staff were truly amazing, friendly, fun and explained everything really well. You can tell they love their job. We both totally enjoyed hang gliding with spectacular views. We are so glad we both purchased the photo's and videos, which took no time to down load to my phone. When we look back at the photos and videos, we feel like we are flying all over again! It was totally amazing and awesome experience, the both of us could not stop talking about how much we loved the feeling of flying like a bird. It is a must do adventure, you will never regret it!

Fun but still disappointed - Not a breath of wind, blue skies, the driver and my guide said these are great conditions for hang gliding, so how could I not be disappointed when my airtime was at the max, 9mins?
I had a great experience but when you’re thinking your glide will get near to the advertised ‘up to 20mins’ one can’t help but feel flat, no matter how good the experience, when you’re down in 8-9mins?
Btw I’m 76kg pretty average I would’ve thought (if weight is even a factor into flight time duration).
Advice, book a day or two prior and ask approx how long you’re expected to glide for in the given conditions.
If I was told up front my glide time would be under 10 mins I would’ve given a much better rating.
