Your journey commences with a helicopter ride and a pit stop on the summit of the Crown Range to relish your initial gin & tonic of the day, following which you will cruise down the Cardrona Valley to persist with your afternoon of gin tastings.

At Cardona Distillery, you will unite with the tour for a behind-the-scenes glimpse into gin production. Witness the machinery, understand the distillation procedure, and conclude with an exclusive tasting.

Persisting the tour aboard a luxury Mercedes van, you’ll now possess the requisite knowledge for the casual tasting session at The Winery, Arrowtown. Choose from an assortment of gin selections and unwind with a shared grazing platter.

The final stop will be a tasting at the Gin Garden by Broken Heart in Arthurs Point. You’ll become captivated with Broken Heart’s story and delight in a led tasting of their premium gins.

An awesome experience - An awesome experience that I highly recommend! The Helicopter ride and gin tasting on the Alps was impressive - the scenery, the gin and our pilot - the legend Jono. We joined the rest of the tour at Cardrona Distillery, which was fascinating to learn about the distillery process and tastings. Our knowledgeable, fun and lovely host Alia then took us via van to Arrowtown, the Gin Garden and then back to our hotel in Queenstown. I thought the helicopter was taking us to each distillery rather than driving. However, it was still a wonderful experience - thank you :-)

Absolutely worth it. - I forget the pilots name but an absolute legend. Wont forget the snow in the drinks table; elegant touch. An epic activity. Ana our driver was amazing, with Holly along for the ride, they made it a day to remember! Will do again.

Making memories with gin - This was a surprise Christmas gift from my partner and it absolutely blew me away. A spectacular helicopter flight to a mountain top to taste NZ’s most premier gin…. It doesn’t get much better than that! Bill and Ethan were both fantastic and knowledgeable. It’s a once in a lifetime experience and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Thank you so much to the team for our GIN-ful and GIN-credible experience!

It’s this tour - then daylight - in QT - This tour is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience Queenstown and some of the best gins in the world. The experience from start to finish was superb. From the helicopter tour to the top of Cardrona (thanks Bill) to the guided tour at each distillery with Ethan - it’s honestly the most memorable tour I’ve been on. In an industry that has been decimated over the past couple of years, it’s so great that unique tours like this have survived and continued to showcase the Queenstown area to the rest of the world. Couldn’t recommend it more for people that want to see and learn about gin, local and the stories behind the personalities that make them what they are.

Stop at the Cardrona... - Great tour...but after being spoilt by the initial helicopter ride, a $300 gin shot at the top of the Cardrona ski field and a fantastic distillery tour nothing thereafter compared. Feedback would be - stop there ( at The Cardrona) with a meal and drinks and fly or drive back to pick up. The other x2 stops we're ok but just filled time when the first was head and shoulders above them. Less is definitely more.
