A Truly Wonderful Tour... - Our tour was on the back of having our flight to Milford Sound cancelled due to weather, so my daughter and I were feeling pretty down as the flight was to be my 60th Birthday highlight. As we trudged back to our unit, we came across a van marked Beer Tours Queenstown parked near our street and I thought 'now there's a thought!' It wasn't quite a flight to and boat cruise on Milford Sound but with nothing to do on my birthday it would be something. A quick chat to the driver and things fell into place with ease. It turned into one of the highlights of our NZ holiday. Lewis - business owner, our driver, guide and all-round genuinely nice guy, made the trip entertaining, interesting and thoroughly enjoyable and I want to thank him for making my birthday memorable and fun. My daughter and I also learnt a great deal about beer and Queenstown itself and our lunch was amazing. I feel so lucky our flight was cancelled so I got to experience Lewis and his wonderful tour plus drink beer on my 60th birthday. One of life's miracles...

A wonderful afternoon! - Our guide, Lewis, was both knowledgeable and personable. My husband loved the beers. I enjoyed the wines, and we had a delicious lunch. This is a bonus for me as I asked for a vegetarian meal and it was really good, which is not always the case.

Well worth doing - Louis is genuinely a good bloke and coming from an Aussie that is a big call. He even managed to get some sunshine on a rainy day. Only myself and two other kiwi chaps so we spent the afternoon sampling beer, talking sports and reminiscing old music. Definitely recommend this tour.

10/10, would recommend, would do again - HUGE thank you to Lewis for an amazing day! Travel times between destinations were filled with local history and knowledge. Lewis talked on a handsfree headset while he drove, so it was easy to hear him throughout the car and he stayed fully safe! It is easy to tell that he has a great friendship with the breweries visited. After 13 beer tastings and a paired lunch, there wasn't even room for dinner! :) If you love beer, sign up, you won't regret it.

Best Craft Beer Tour! - Absolutely loved this tour! We were picked up from our hotel and drove out to the first brewery. Lewis, our tour guide, pointed out a lot of facts about Queenstown on our way and anytime we were in the van going to Arrowtown and the other breweries! There was one other couple on the tour and it was really cool to learn about NZ from them and Lewis (we're American). Lewis was super knowledgeable on the history of the breweries and the beers they provided. At the second brewery, we got a look at how the vats of beer are made. This was also the same brewery where we got the food pairing with our beer...totally blew us away! The food was absolutely delicious and paired well with the chosen brews! You could tell Lewis maintains a personal connection with each of the breweries. What I really loved about this tour was how intimate it felt. Lewis is passionate about what he does and very personable. We made friends with the other couple and ended up getting dinner (and more drinks) with them when we got dropped off! A highlight of our trip that you definitely don't want to miss out on!

Make sure to add this tour to your itinerary! - This is an absolute must do when your in Queenstown. The breweries are locally owned, I am not a beer drinker but thoroughly enjoyed the day, I switched out beer for wine at some places, but enjoyed all the beer I did taste! Lewis is the best host - a lot of local knowledge of the area and the beer! It is excellent value for money and a great way to see parts of QT! Highly, highly recommended setting aside a day to do this!

You don’t have to be a beer drinker to enjoy this tour! If you are, you will like it even more - For me, a non-beer drinker, to say this was one of the best outings we did while in Queenstown says a lot. Lewis is knowledgeable, personable, and just a great guy to hang out with for 5 hours! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour. I liked that there were non-beer options available at most of the stops. Lots of beer, lots of different flavors, and it was great to get a taste of what local breweries are offering.

Fantastic Beer Tour - A fantastic day out with Lewis, touring the local breweries. Great scenery, lunch, beers and an entertaining day hosted by Lewis. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Queenstown. (Even for one of us, a non beer drinker, thoroughly enjoyed Lewis’s recommendations) Thanks fora great day. Brad & Michelle

Must do trip - I booked the tour for something fun to do as it was our wedding anniversary. We had no expectations of what it was going to be like. My husband & I aren’t wine fans so I thought this would be something fun to do, tasting beer. We really lucked out as not only was it a nice, sunny day but we also had an amazing guide in ‘Lewis’. He’s an absolute legend & made our day extra special. We were the only ones on the trip. Lewis certainly had his work cut out with us as my husband & I like to chat - so we didn’t stop talking to him. He was so friendly & absolutely made our day. Being a local made it feel extra special too as his knowledge was spot on along with his beer knowledge. We couldn’t recommend this trip enough. Thanks again Lewis, we will be back. Helen & Mark
