Worth it. - Overall an exceptional tour. Stops were great. Food options for purchase were really nice. Bus was comfy. Only downside was the long wait for the helicopter and plane ride. Jeff was a very informative and friendly driver who dropped us off at our accommodation at the end of a very long but enjoyable day.

Frolicking on a glacier, what a memory :) - This was a once in a life time experience for us! The day was sunny, light winds, and the ice and snow sparkled like glitter. Several spectacular photos that day. FYI You'll have 15 minutes to walk around in a staked out area and take pictures at the glacier. I wouldn't have used precious suitcase space with fleece wear if I'd known that. We went the 2nd week in March.

Great great experience!! - One of the best things I’ve ever done!! The tour guide Denny was a wonderful young woman who drove 16 of us from Queenstown to Mt Cook Aoraki and back, stopping at various locations so we could enjoy picture taking. This included rest stops and informative dialogue. The ride was long but beautiful! The actual flying experience was amazing and one of the best things I’ve ever done! The plane ride was smooth and landing on the Franz Josef glacier was exciting! We had ample time on the glacier to experience it and take photos. The return trip on the helicopter was my favorite thing! Our pilot got us up close to the mountains and the views were unforgettable!! He landed us back to earth like we were a butterfly touching down!! Great great experience!!!

You’ve GOT to do this!! - One of the best things I’ve ever done! Fantastic views!! The plane ride was smooth for such a small craft and the helicopter ride was absolutely incredible!!! Loved this experience!!!

Amazing - Chinsan our tour operator (pilot lol) for today was superb, funny. Made the trip so enjoyable and fun. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for an awesome experience.

Great tour but missed out on the glacier landing - The tour was great and the scenery magnificent. The tour guide, Cameron, was young but knowledgeable and enthusiastic. There was plenty of great photo opportunities. The major disappointment for me was plane ride was cancelled and the helicopter flight was cut short due to weather conditions. This is not the fault of the tour company and I understand safety is of utmost importance. The whole reason I booked this flight was to land on the glacier.
The helicopter company did give us a partial refund for the shortened flight.
We had an enjoyable time nonetheless.

Incredible Views! - The helicopter/ski plane made the long journey well worth it! Seating can be a bit cramped throughout. The stops helped to break up the trip. The Wrinkly Rams was a nice little cafe, and the salmon farm on the way back had some fresh sushi rolls! We may drive on our own up to Mt Cook next time though

Mt Cook absolutely beautiful- great day - Was an amazing but long day. Cheeky kiwi travel picked us up from our hotel at 6:50am and off we started our tour. First stop was at Tarras to grab quick brekky and refuel and stretch our legs then back in the van as it was very early not much could be seen in the surroundings outside.
Next stop was a lookout close to reaching Mt Cook National Park was absolutely beautiful
Once we reached Mt Cook you had the option of a 3hr hike or 1hr hike.
We had booked to do glacier landing / helicopter flight but due to bad weather it got cancelled.
We ended up doing the 1hr hike to Tasman Glacier Lake which was incredible we got to see little icebergs formed in the lake.
After our hike we went back to the Hermitage for lunch and to take in the views of Mt Cook.
We got picked up at 2:30pm and made our journey back to Queenstown we stopped at High Country Salmon and Roaring Meg Gorge
We got dropped back at our hotel by 6:30pm
Our tour guide John was very friendly and knowledgeable made sure we all had a great time and have us lots of tips for our stay in Queenstown

Bitter experience - So first of all, the team is amazing. John made sure everyone had all the facts in a timely manner and more, he did his best to make the trip lively and interesting. The other member I interacted with was very sweet. The tour in itself was nice, we saw beautiful things and learned a lot.
However, the organization, I was not satisfied with. I booked the helicopter flight and received an email only the day before warning about the weather and possible cancellation. It was of course canceled due to bad weather but we only had the confirmation on the day itself at 10 am. I also was not the only one in this situation and all of us had the same disappointing experience of going on a trip we wouldn’t have booked without the helicopter option and not given the option to back down earlier.
Now, I understand the team did their very best and have no control over the weather, nor the flight company decisions. It doesn’t make the experience any better.
