Daintree National Park - Explore Daintree National Park, part of the World Heritage Wet Tropics. Experience the rainforest up close on our guided elevated National Park Boardwalks. An experienced guide will lead you through this ancient rainforest, offering insights into the flora and fauna. There will be plenty of time for photos and questions as we search for the elusive, rare, and unique Southern Cassowary and other wildlife in this habitat.

Daintree Region - Take a refreshing swim in a rainforest stream. Cool off in the crystal-clear fresh waters, away from the crowds, in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest.

Cape Tribulation Beach - Enjoy a leisurely walk along the beach and boardwalk to the photographers’ platform, which offers stunning views of the mountains and coast where the ‘Rainforest meets the Reef.’

Cape Tribulation Beach - Savor a delicious lunch with fellow travelers. Special dietary requirements are catered for; please confirm with the tour operator before travel.

While the Daintree Ferry is under repair following recent severe weather, we are pleased to offer an alternative full-day tour showcasing some of the best of the Daintree.

Your day in the Daintree:

Pick up from accommodation as usual - please reconfirm time with Reservations before the tour.

9:00am-10:30am | Wildlife Habitat - Semi-guided walk, with an optional koala photo (not included). Kangaroo food available onsite for $3 (not included).

11:00am-12:00pm | 1 Hour Daintree River Cruise - as per usual itinerary - crocodile spotting + light morning tea.

12:30pm-1:30pm | Lunch at Daintree Beach Resort (Wonga Beach). Lunch included (drinks at additional cost) + direct beach access for a leisurely stroll.

2:00pm-4:00pm | Mossman Gorge National Park - Guided rainforest walk, relax and swim (if safe).

Return to accommodation.

Great Barrier Reef Snorkelling

Reef Fleet Terminal - Check-in at Reef Fleet Terminal between 7.15am - 7.45am. After checking in, proceed to the boat, Evolution. Be welcomed by the friendly crew, who will provide masks and snorkels, and enjoy arrival tea, coffee, and muffins before departure.

Great Barrier Reef - Evolution departs Cairns at 8 am with a safety briefing en route to the first reef location. After 1 hour and 30 minutes, arrive at either Saxon Reef or Norman Reef, depending on weather conditions and water clarity, to ensure the best experience for all activities.

Great Barrier Reef - Relish a BBQ lunch onboard (special dietary requirements catered for). The menu features an Australian barbecue with fresh fish, steak, prawns, and a variety of salads and breads.

Hastings Reef - Evolution arrives at the second reef location for more snorkelling and/or scuba diving. Marvel at the incredible richness and diversity of marine life as you snorkel at another Outer Reef location. If you prefer to stay dry, relax and enjoy the views from our three deck spaces available for lounging. For added adventure, choose the package with the 10-minute scenic helicopter flight to experience the Great Barrier Reef from above!

Cairns Marlin Marina - As you return to the mainland after a full day in paradise, enjoy complimentary afternoon tea with cheese, biscuits, and a glass of wine as you toast to a wonderful day visiting the Great Barrier Reef. Evolution arrives back in Cairns at approximately 4.30pm.

Over two days you will experience the World Heritage Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef and explore two Outer Great Barrier Reef locations.

The Daintree Rainforest Tour is a small personalised tour with custom-built 4WD vehicles. Your naturalist driver-guide has extensive knowledge of flora, fauna, history of the area and aboriginal culture, which will ensure your day will be a memory of a lifetime.

The Outer Great Barrier Reef Tour has been locally owned and operated for over 30 years. Enjoy unlimited snorkelling over 5 hours, delicious BBQ lunch onboard and a free glass of wine for the journey home to Cairns.

• Please choose your Rainforest Tour as the first day of your booking. Once booked, please contact the tour operator once booked to choose your Reef Day.
• The tours do not need to be on consecutive days. Please speak to the tour operator once booked.
• The Rainforest Day will have a maximum of 20 passengers. The Reef Day will have a maximum of 160 passengers.
