While the Daintree Ferry is being repaired after a recent severe weather event, an alternative full-day tour is available, highlighting some of the best attractions in the Daintree.

Your day in the Daintree:

Pick-up from accommodation as usual - please confirm the time with Reservations before the tour.

9:00am-10:30am | Wildlife Habitat - Enjoy a semi-guided walk, with an optional koala photo (not included). Kangaroo food is available onsite for $3 (not included).

11:00am-12:00pm | 1 Hour Daintree River Cruise - as per the usual itinerary - includes crocodile spotting and a light morning tea.

12:30pm-1:30pm | Lunch at Daintree Beach Resort (Wonga Beach). Lunch is included (drinks at an additional cost) with direct beach access for a leisurely stroll.

2:00pm-4:00pm | Mossman Gorge National Park - Enjoy a guided rainforest walk, relax, and swim (if safe).

Return to accommodation.

• Mount Alexandra Lookout - Journey over the Alexandra Range and pause for a panoramic view of the World Heritage Wet Tropics and Tropical Rainforest merging with the azure Coral Sea. *Currently Unavailable due to flood damage
• Daintree River Cruise Centre - 1 Hour Daintree River Cruise with morning tea. Relax and enjoy the unique beauty of the Daintree Rainforest, learning about Estuarine Crocodiles, mangrove forests, and endemic wildlife. This is nature at its finest!
• Billy Tea Safaris - Be picked up by a local guide from Cairns, Beaches, or Port Douglas.
• Daintree Region - Savor a delicious lunch with fellow travelers. Special dietary requirements are catered for; please confirm with the tour operator before travel.
• Daintree National Park - Explore Daintree National Park, a World Heritage Wet Tropics site. Experience the rainforest on guided elevated National Park Boardwalks. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you through this ancient rainforest, interpreting the flora and fauna. There will be plenty of time for photos and questions as you search for the elusive, rare, and unique Southern Cassowary and other wildlife species in this habitat.
• Daintree - Enjoy a refreshing swim in a rainforest stream. Cool off in the crystal-clear fresh waters, away from the crowds, in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest.
