Bike tour to Montmorency Falls - This tour was great. Bike shop easy to find, staff very helpful. The bike tracks to Montmorency were mostly flat so the cycling was fairly easy. Not many road crossings and they were all at traffic lights and supervised by our guide. Our guide Benoit was informative and friendly. I would recommend this to anybody who enjoys cycling.

Don't Miss This Tour-It is Great - We booked this tour through our Chase Travel and it was a wonderful experience. The tour began at 9 a.m. and the meeting place at a Bike shop was an easy walk from our hotel that was in Old Quebec. Our guide was Paul and he was excellent. Our group was only 4, with 2 of us on E bikes and the other 2 on regular bikes. The bike trails in Quebec are amazing I wish we had trails like this in the area we live in in Texas. The scenery was wonderful and truly the bike trail to Montmorency Falls was not really hilly at all. The E bike users did use assist some but not all of the time. Once to the Falls we took the cable car up to the top which was also a great experience. It was not terribly crowded the day we were they and the weather was wonderful. The falls are amazing. We walked across the suspension bridge to the other side of the falls also. Our tour guide gave us good history information not only about the falls but other information about Quebec City. We throughly enjoyed this tour and it was a great way to get some activity in to offset the wonderful food we had been eating in Quebec City. On the way back to town our tour guide Paul also took us to a couple of places for some more history. I recommend this tour to all ages, don't let the thought of riding 19 miles keep you from doing this. Get an E bike if you are concerned you cannot keep up with the group. You can use the assist if you like and if you want to. This tour has it all! Don't miss it.

Best Activity in Quebec City - The highlight activity of our trip to Quebec City! Our tour guide, Ronald, was personable and knowledgeable, and the e-bikes made the excursion even more enjoyable!

Great half day bicycle tour. - Great experience. We took our own bicycles but bikes provided to others in the group were good. Pedal assist and conventional geared bikes were available. This is an out and back tour. Our guide, a local quebecois, provided a lot of historic background along the ride. Apart from a short stretch under the main highway the scenery was great. Montmorency Falls we’re beautiful, even in the Fall when we visited. I understand they are more spectacular in the spring. We did this ride the first day of our three day stay in the area and it was a great start.

A Trip You Won't Soon Forget! - Our experience with this tour was very good. We chose it because of its high ratings and touring via bike is often a great way to see a city. The distance of the tour, however, was not stated in its description and we regrettably failed to ask. This is a 20+ mile ride and for those casual riders like us we suggest you opt for the more comfortable e-bikes. The bicycles we were assigned were probably expensive and smooth shifting but their seats were very uncomfortable and are best suited for use with padded biker shorts or some sort of slip-on pad. Thankfully, the entire path was paved and mainly flat making for easy peddling. The "guided" part of the tour included a few somewhat interesting venues on the way to the Falls. The Falls themselves, at the halfway point of the tour, was fabulous and fun to explore. With this information in hand I highly recommend this tour.

Not for serious cyclists - The actual bike riding was great. However, I felt that there were too many stops to talk about the history of the city. Our guide’s English was difficult to understand and he used French names for all these various people in history and we had difficult understanding the continuity of the story, mainly because we couldn’t understand the names he was using. Let’s just say it was an advanced history course with not enough bike riding.

Make sure to get E Bike - The tour guide was great, forgot his name. However, me and my mom opted for regular bikes, not e-bikes (which the e bike was an extra 25 per person). While the ride itself was mostly flat, the pace was extremely fast, because everyone else in our group had e-bikes. There were times we were so far behind we couldnt even see the guide. We didnt want to slow down the group, so we managed to keep up the best we could, but for 16 miles you can only bike so fast. The rest of our group basically had the bike do the work for them! If you do the tour I recommend the e-bikes, but the tour guide didnt say at the beginning that we would be going at an e bike pace, so we assumed we would be totally fine as we bike quite often.
