A worthwhile Excursion - This was a very nice experience. Not too long of an Excursion about 3 hours. It took us to the island, our tour guide Celine was efficient had a good sense of humor, gave us a little bit of history as we were traveling from the mainland to the island and brought us to a couple of places that gave us a little insight about their business, they're beginnings, we had tastings and had ample time to purchase on our own. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for something to do during your stay but don't want to invest too much time away from old Quebec.

Love the foodie tour! - We went to the Island of Orleans, the Guide told us the history of the island and we went to a chocolate shop, then a nugget shop, then for cider and to finish at a winery. At each location, the Driver or the Host provided a comprehensive description and we had an opportunity to sample several of each. Not too surprising, my favorite was sitting outside, in the shade of an apple tree drinking wine. Must do when you’re in Quebec City!

Wonderful experience in a beautiful place - We had a great time! The tour was well organised and Peter was a fabulous guide, providing lots of interesting information and local information. The tastings were all excellent, and with the final wine tasting set in an orchard it made for a memorable day. The glorious weather certainly helped!

It was wonderful to see... - It was wonderful to see the isle of Orleans. Our driver guide was very animated and made sure we were well cared for during our trip. This is a tasting of candies, cider and wine. We did buy a sandwich at the first stop which was a good choice. Plan that the trip may last longer than the expected 3 1/2 hours.

Driver/ tour guide best part of tour - The tour bus driver, Peter was the highlight of the tour. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Unfortunately, the first cidery we visited seemed ill prepared for the size of our group and the thimble sized tasting cups seemed inadequate this fully experience the flavours. The better part of the tour was the drive around the island and Peter’s local and historic descriptions.

Multiple tastings - A pleasant way to discover some of what the Orléans island has to offer. Several stops always with opportunity to purchase. The highlight of the trip was the wine tasting in the orchard. Go on an empty stomach and be prepared to yield to temptation

Several stops for tastings - You could easily spend a full day on the island moving from shop to shop tasting wine, candy, and fresh fruit. But this 4-hour small bus tour gives you a good sampling of local cider, wine, and candy. The Chocolaterie shop has the best chocolate I’ve had outside of Brussels. And for the wine tasting we sat at tables in an apple orchard. I suspect that the list of stops changes with the seasons.

Could be improved - Nougat business visit should have come before chocolate. Nougat film was disappointing - on small TV, no real room for everyone to sit. The samples were so-so at every stop. Final stop would have been more pleasant & fitting for ending the tour if held at a business on the river side of the road rather than an orchard.
