Gobustan& Yanardag full day tour - I really enjoyed the tour, especially I liked Gobustan park and Yanardag for their historical value and beauty of nature. We visited many places, the whole tour lasted for around 9 hours, but I didnt notice how fast the time flew. Both driver and guide were very professional, car quality was good. Our guide Ruslan had a good english and was very knowledgeable. Its a great full day tour and a perfect value for money, highly recommended!

There is another planet outside Baku :) - It's a perfect tour if you want to learn lots of interesting information about Azerbaijan. We had a wonderful guide, Mr. Vusal. He is both a nice person and the coolest guide we've ever met. When it was a lunchtime - we visited a nice local restaurant. So tasty it was, omg! Very delicious. I've never seen something like Yanardag before - couldn't even imagine how sacred this place was for ancient people. We were very satisfied with the organization of our tour. Recommend it

Not the best experience but Gobustan and Absheron are beauiful! - The tour itself is very interesting and worth seeing. Our guide was young and nice starting and learning lady. Very friendly and kind. She explained to us some parts in russian, some in english, which was ok for us but may be not to good for english speaking tourists. The tour was called "Gobustan and Absheron tour all Entrance tickets included". However we had to pay extra for entance at Gobustan, Absheron (janardag) and extra for another car that tok us to vulcanes. The organisor of the trip said: "it's marketing' And I think he simply cheating on us. The driver was very kind and gave me a couple of azn, cause I didnt have enoght cash to get to the airport by taxi since I had extra costs on the tour. Overall, my advise- ckeck twice all the details of your deal in order not to be dissapointed as I was, since I payed 80 azn extra additionally to 117 usd for 3 persons.

See for yourself but that's my view - Our guide was very nice and the bus of good quality. But that's not enough IMHO: the guide's English was very basic, he could only recite what he had learned and not answer any of my questions. What's called "the burning mountain" is a fire of maybe 2 sqm, so rather small. The mud volcanoes were only a few and there was hardly any activity, only a tiny blurb now and then. We heard there's very many very active mud volcanoes elsewhere in the country that would have been worthwhile visiting. As for the stop "Heydar Aliyev Museum" I asked beforehand and was told that we would stop there for 25 minutes. However, we didn't get to see it from the inside at all; only from afar because we stopped at the "I love Baku" sign quite a distance from the Museum. All in all, I cannot recommend this day trip.
