Qingpu District - Your private tour guide will come to pick you up at your hotel lobby in the morning and take you to Zhaotun Strawberry Park in Qingpu District, which is well-known for its 20 years of research in plant technology. Upon arrival, the first thing you will notice is that you are not actually picking strawberries under a yawning blue sky but in the green house tent with some bees around. But don’t let this deter you; the strawberries are worth it! You will find the strawberries there are sweet and run-down-your-chin juicy. Your guide will accompany you to one of the tents to pick up the strawberries, and you can taste it as well during the picking time. You will surely have so much fun there!

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - After your joyful fruit picking time, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to visit the Zhujiajiao Water Village, an ancient town with a 1,700-year-old history. It’s renowned as the “Venice of the East,” and it is surrounded by water, with old architecture, tranquil canals, and crumbling bridges.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Shanghai.

Shanghai’s Zhaotun village, renown as ‘China’s Strawberry Capital,’ boasts an expansive 2000-acre area filled with strawberry greenhouses. Strawberry picking reaches its peak from the end of December to mid-May annually. Visitors are gifted a free half-kilo batch of strawberries upon departure from the fields. In the absence of strawberries, other fruit picking activities involving cherries, blueberries, and more are available. If you’re looking to explore a unique water village unlike Zhujiajiao, consider Nanxiang, Fengjing, or Xinchang. Additionally, an inclusive package entails a boat ride and a local feast at a farmer’s residence.
