In the morning, our tour conductor will guide you in a climate-controlled vehicle to the Dendera Temple, situated approximately 50 KM north of Luxor and 4 KM away from the River. It served as one of the main worship sites for the deity Hathor - ‘Goddess of Maternity, Joy, Music, and Love’, whom the Greeks recognized as Aphrodite. The location features a vast selection of structures from various eras of Egypt’s history, with the most noteworthy being the Greco-Roman Hathor temple, largely built between 54 and 29 BC. Visitors can explore the pillar-lined halls, subterranean chambers, and staircase within the intact edifice, adorned with hieroglyphic inscriptions.
After this magnificent excursion concludes, you’ll be driven back to your hotel in Luxor.
