Egyptian Museum and Cairo Tower & Boat Ride on the Nile
The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - The day begins at 8:00 am with a pickup from the hotel by a guide to embark on a full-day tour of the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. This museum houses the world’s largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art. It features a rare collection of over 250,000 authentic artifacts dating back 5,000 years, including a special exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun. This exhibit includes treasures, gold, and jewelry that were buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years before their discovery in the 1920s.
Cairo Tower - Next, visit the Cairo Tower (Egyptian Arabic: برج القاهرة, Borg El-Qāhira), a free-standing concrete tower in Cairo, Egypt. Standing at 187 m (614 ft), it was the tallest structure in Egypt for 37 years until 1998, when it was surpassed by the Suez Canal overhead powerline crossing. It was the tallest structure in North Africa for 21 years until 1982 when it was surpassed by the Nador transmitter in Morocco. It was the tallest structure in Africa for one year until 1962 when it was surpassed by Sentech Tower in South Africa.
This iconic modern monument, often considered Egypt’s second most famous landmark after the Pyramids of Giza, is located in the Gezira district on Gezira Island in the River Nile, near downtown Cairo.
Nile River - Then, transfer to downtown Cairo to board the most traditional Egyptian boat known as a Felucca. Enjoy a relaxing 1-hour Felucca ride along the River Nile, where you can experience Cairo’s vibrant nightlife or bask in the warm sun during the day. After the ride, a representative will transfer you back to your hotel.
National Museums of Egyptian Civilization, Citadel & Old Cairo
National Museum of Egyptian Civilization NEMC - The tour starts at 8:00 am with a pickup from the hotel by a tour guide to begin a full-day tour of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. The main exhibition hall showcases the four main crafts that shaped Egyptian civilization: pottery, wood, textiles, and ornaments.
Here, you can see the world’s oldest prosthetic toe, a skeleton dating back 30,000 years, the Kaaba Cover (kiswaa Al kaaba) which was the last one made in Egypt during President Naser’s time, and the Mahmal which used to carry the cover from Egypt to Saudi Arabia annually in a grand parade.
Additionally, you can view the Kaaba key, Clepsydra, an ancient time-measuring device, and the royal mummies, which were moved in a royal parade from the Egyptian Museum to the Civilization Museum.
Cairo Citadel - Visit one of Egypt’s oldest citadels, built by Salah El Din El Ayoby. Here, you will also visit and enter one of Egypt’s most beautiful mosques, the Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque due to its alabaster stone covering.
The Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha or Alabaster Mosque is located in the Citadel of Cairo in Egypt and was commissioned by Muhammad Ali Pasha between 1830 and 1848.
Hanging Church (El Muallaqa, Sitt Mariam, St Mary) - The Hanging Church is named for its location above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress, the Roman fortress in Coptic Cairo (Old Cairo); its nave is suspended over a passage. The church is approached by twenty-nine steps; early travelers to Cairo dubbed it “the Staircase Church.” The land surface has risen by some six meters since the Roman period, so the Roman tower is mostly buried below ground, reducing the visual impact of the church’s elevated position. The entrance from the street is through iron gates under a pointed stone arch. The nineteenth-century façade with twin bell towers is then seen beyond a narrow courtyard decorated with modern art biblical designs. Up the steps and through the entrance is a further small courtyard leading to the eleventh-century outer porch.
Synagogue Ben Ezra - The Ben Ezra Synagogue (Hebrew: בית כנסת בן עזרא, Arabic: معبد بن عزرا), sometimes referred to as the El-Geniza Synagogue (Hebrew: בית כנסת אל גניזה) or the Synagogue of the Levantines (al-Shamiyin), is situated in Old Cairo, Egypt. According to local folklore, it is located on the site where baby Moses was found.
This was the synagogue whose genizah or storeroom was found in the 19th century to contain a treasure of abandoned Hebrew, Aramaic, and Judeo-Arabic secular and sacred manuscripts. The collection, known as the Cairo Geniza, was brought to the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England at the instigation of Solomon Schechter. It is now divided between several academic libraries, with the majority being kept at the Cambridge University Library.
Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus - Abu-Sergah & St. Barbara Old Cairo is an iconic religious site that beautifully preserves the essence of ancient Egypt. Situated in Old Cairo, this captivating complex stands as a beacon of Coptic Christianity and an embodiment of the country’s fascinating history. Admire the stunning craftsmanship and timeless beauty displayed in the intricate designs, ancient relics, and sacred icons throughout the church and monastery. Whether you are intrigued by architecture, and spirituality, or simply appreciate the allure of historical landmarks, Abu-Sergah & St. Barbara Old Cairo offers an enriching experience like no other.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Visitors will learn about the opulence and extravagance of these ancient rulers and will be in awe of the craftsmanship that went into creating these beautiful items.
