Mystical place - Gachrash Forest, also known as the "Forest of Tales," is a renowned natural attraction located in the Guba region of Azerbaijan. It covers an area of over 500 hectares and is celebrated for its dense vegetation, crystal clear streams, and picturesque landscapes. The forest is a sanctuary for various wildlife, including deer, wild boars, and numerous bird species. The village of Gachrash, situated near the forest, is one of the most picturesque and lively corners of Guba. It's known for its old authentic village houses, a mosque, and small ancient stables. The area is enveloped by the forest, which is so dense that sunlight struggles to penetrate it, creating a mystical atmosphere. We enjoyed walking through the woodland, taking photos, and experiencing the real village life. The nearby Lake Chanlibel, surrounded by forests, offers a serene setting for photo sessions and leisure activities like boat rides. While you are visiting the candy cane mountains don't forget to stop by at the Gachrash Forest and its surrounding village as it provides a unique and profound connection with the natural world, inviting you to immerse yourself in the beauty and mystery of this enchanting region.
