You’ll wander through the narrow lanes of the traditional villages of Pyrgos and Megalochori, learning about their history from your tour guide. You’ll stop at the remnants of Pyrgos’ medieval Kastelli and enjoy stunning island views from assorted perspectives. At Megalochori village, you’ll pause for a coffee break, with traditional sweets and water provisioned.
You’ll trek along the caldera rim, following the Megalochori wine trails and absorbing the wine-making history. You’ll behold the awe-inspiring landscape from the ‘eye’ or ‘heart’ of Santorini, as it’s locally known.
