Our full-day excursion to Aukstaitija National park departs from your hotel in Vilnius at 9am. This tour is designed for avid nature enthusiasts, incorporating elements of cultural heritage discovery, hill fort visits, lakes, observation towers, visitor centres, and wildlife. This tour runs throughout the entire year. On route to the park, we’ll make a stop at the geographical Centre of Europe. Moving forward, we journey to the Lithuanian Ethno-Cosmology Museum, a unique establishment in the world that speaks of the connections between humans and the cosmos. Next, we’ll head to the visitors center of Labanoras regional park. Lunch will be arranged near the Ginuciai watermill, serving the national Lithuanian fish - Tench. Post lunch, we’ll proceed to the ancient bee-keeping museum in Stripeikiai, the Ladakalnis hill for a panoramic view of 5 lakes and to the Ginuciai hilfort. Our tour concludes at the Paluse village, famous for its wooden church and visitor center before we return to your hotel.
