Nice tour! - Juan and Kiki(our driver) were great hosts and representatives of Costa Rica. Took us all over and were great about pointing out local foliage and wildlife. A very enjoyable day.

Nice little tour. We enjoyed it very much. - We experienced Costa Rica even though limited in mobility. Length of tour was just right. Tour guide and driver were excellent. We saw parrots,monkeys and crocodiles and the countryside. Number of stops was just right. Small group,clean air conditioned vehicle.

Guide was Great - Albert was the perfect guide. English was fantastic and the information he shared was interesting. The best part is he did not talk too much--just right.

We Made It Against All Odds - Great excursion. We were challenged on account of Easter Week traffic jams. Many excursions resulted in turning back to the ship Ours was completed with the driver and guide throwing in some extras. The tour operator is to be commended, great job.

Great tour for a bargain price - Our tour Guide was on time and waiting outside of the ship port gate. It was a very hot day, and the van that carried about 14 to 16 people was full, comfortable, and had good air conditioning. Our tour guide Flora was excellent as well as the driver handling very difficult gridlock in traffic. It was a holiday weekend and this was unavoidable. This tour was an incredible buy for the price. We had a close encounter with white face monkeys who were friendly and jumped on your head or shoulder. We then went to see the crocodiles. From there, we went to a special spot to look for the Macaws. The guide knew where we could find them and we saw several beautiful macaws. From there, we went on a winding road high in the mountains where we stopped at a restaurant where for three dollars per passenger additional we had a beautiful beautiful view of the cloud forest below us. Despite the Easter weekend traffic, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this guide, driver, and company. It is highly doubtful that a cruise ship tour at a much higher price could have given us a comparable experience as the sites we visited did not have adequate access to a huge bus!

Lovely informative trip. - Excellent & knowledgeable guide & driver . Good stops. Comfortable air conditioned mini van. Good sized group compared to cruise coaches.

Puntarenas was okay. - The tour guide was excellent but waiting in the van for people who were supposed to travel with other companies was not nice. These people had to go on a crocodile river cruise so our van had to bring them in and back wasting time that resulted in us not seeing a portion of the monkeys that we really wanted to see. I do applaud the collaboration with Viator and other travel firms and helping each other.

Great itinerary but lacked the background info to appreciate what we were seeing - We signed up for the tour because of the itinerary. The traffic was horrendous because the cruise ship visited on a national holiday. We had fun visiting the Monkey House and got crackers from other tour guides to entice the monkeys to take pictures. The stop to observe the macaws was a wonderful photo op. The $3 paid for the viewpoint entry fee was worth it as a drink comes with the entry fee. We have been to Puntarenas a few times and always sign up for guided tours because of the excellent quality of tour guides in Costa Rica. Unfortunately, either the tour guide licensing standards have been lowered or we got an unlicensed tour guide. The tour lacked the background information to make it a wonderful tour for us.

No - Waited 1 hour for more people and to try to get more people to join us. We never saw monkeys as they don't come out if it's too hot. So why did he wait till late afternoon to see them. Then we spent a lot of time raking people to a different tour. We never saw the church because we were running so late, but he offered to stop on the roadside so people could take a picture of our ship at a dirty port. Never again
