Highlights

Isla Tortuga - We will start our day from Playa ‘Los Órganos’ in Paquera at 9am to 2.30pm or 12pm to 4pm, with a pleasant boat ride of approximately 20 minutes. On the way to Tortuga Island, you will enjoy the beautiful coast along with some marine life. We will pass Playa Quesera, then going with the boat through the hole in the rock called Arco Iris. After this we will go to the group of Islands called Morteros for snorkeling. The volcanic rock reef is surrounded by crystal clear waters and is famous for the large number of goldfish and some corals. On the Pacific coast of Costa Rica there are not many hard corals, but many fish and shellfish that keep their attention. You can see, for example, angelfish, porcupine, morays, needle fish, spotted eagle rays and many more tropical beauties that will make it a great snorkeling experience.

Changing the snorkeling mask for the sunglasses again, we go to the island itself, where we will visit Playa Tropical, where you can enjoy a swim in the warm waters, stroll along the sugary white sand beach, walk along the path to the top of the island or relax in the shade of a palm tree swaying. Here we will serve you some fresh fruits and drinks.

Additional Information

As my tour is in a small groups, I’ll give you a local experience and I’m able to make slight changes of how we spent the day regarding duration of snorkling, beach time ect. of course if the whole group agrees.

Once we will start our tour with a boat ride, I will show you the beautiful coast line of the area. We will visit the rock called Arco Iris (Rainbow Rock) and then we will go to the group of Islands called Morteros for some snorkeling.

Once you arrive at the beach in Paquera (Playa Paquera, Los Organos) we are located at the right side, or you see our boat already at the sea shore.

Perfect day trip! - Such a perfect experience! Juan was so friendly and helpful, and we all had so much fun :) it was absolutely magical to see the crystal clear waters and get to see some fun fish (and starfish!) while snorkeling. The smaller beach that we went to was definitely better than the bigger one that other tours go to, but we were able to swim back and forth for a bit of adventure (he also offered to drop us off over there via boat). So grateful that we got to spend the day there - and it was so convenient from Paquera! Thank you!!
