Great short excursion! - This was a great short excursion, and the crew was very friendly and helpful. The area is absolutely beautiful, and the water is so blue. Alvin and his crew took great care of us. While we were snorkeling, our 6 year old just had to hang on to a life ring and one of the crew members towed her around while she snorkeled, which made it very easy on Mom and Dad. They also took lots of great photos with their GoPro while we were snorkeling (able to purchase for a fee). We didn't have a lot of time on Isla Mujeres, but we were able to grab lunch and do a little shopping. We didn't go to Playa Norte, as implied by the ad, but that was fine. A little snorkeling, a nice boat ride, and a little food and shopping on Isla Mujeres. Viator also arranged our round-trip transfer from the resort to Punta Sam Ferry Terminal. Would highly recommend.

Perfect afternoon - This was a perfect length trip for us. The snorkeling was awesome despite the waves- our guide kept us going in the right direction. The guacamole and poco de gallo that was hand made on the boat was out of this world. The trip to and from the island was perfect. Overall an amazing day. Wonderful crew, beautiful sights

Friendly and very responsible crew of people - They treat their customers kindly and they always keep the drinks coming your way. Would defined request for their services when going back to Cancun.

Perfect half-day trip if staying at a resort - Great mix of snorkeling and shopping without giving away the entire day. We had only a 4 day stay at an all inclusive resort and had to allocate our time wisely. This was a great choice for 2 active seniors. Had a great time aboard ship, met several nice people. Snorkeling was just long enough for us. Crew was very accommodating, supplying cocktails and snacks. We've taken similar cruise excursions throughout the Caribbean and this was exactly what we expected. Be sure to go to the back of Diamonds International to sample small sips of all their flavored tequilas -- NO CHARGE! There are almost a dozen to sample. Of course, they'd love to sell you a big bottle but no high pressure sales tactics. A very pleasant 5-6 hours door to door that let us also enjoy the all-inclusive amenities we'd already paid for at the resort.

Awesome Experience - The captain and crew were top knotch. The group was 10 people on a nice size catamaran. Had a nice snorkel and some additional perks such as a tequila tasting and 20% off at the suvienier store and 50% off at the diamond store. The photographer was amazing and I highly recommend you let him take a ton of photos of you. Buy the package. It's worth it!

Great experience! Loved the trip. - Such a great time! It didn’t seem short at all- I went with one friend, and we were exhausted when we came back! The snorkeling was good, but make sure you’re a generally strong swimmer. If not, you have the option to stay on the boat! The guide, Gallo, did well at keeping track of all of us while we were in the water, and making sure we saw everything cool before we got back on the boat. Speaking of the boat, the whole time we were on it, the drinks kept coming, which was perfect! The group was small (10 people), which worked well. Transport was nice, and if you’re not in their regular area, it’s just a small fee. You can pay that and the docking fee in cash before the tour. Bring extra money for lunch and shopping on Isla Mujeres.

Amazing trip to Isla - This trip was Amazing!!! The crew is the best! All of the Catmania crew was incredible. Filipe, Jose, Alan and Fran were so fun and accomodating. Hospitality A+. Great guacamole, and pico with chips. Drinks were top notch. Karaoke on the boat was so fun. Private transportation to and from hotel made it even better. A MUST DO on your vacation. Please tip them well, that is how they feed their families.

Highlight of our trip - The crew was so amazing, courteous, helpful and fun. They gave great suggestions for Isla. The catamaran was clean and beautiful.

Doesn’t stop at Playa Norte but still very enjoyable! - The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the description makes you think they are going to stop at playa norte but we didn’t. This is something we were looking forward to. Everything else was great! They had about 6-7 crew members and all were nice and accommodating. They were quick to bring us drinks the whole time. Great music playing. We only had about 20 people on the catamaran so it was nice and not crowded. We first stopped at the Punta Sam reef and under water museum. They let my kids snorkel and were very helpful when they got tired. The snorkeling is just ok but it seems to be a popular spot. Other boats around. After we kept moving to isla mujeres they provided chips guacamole and pico. They provided plenty. We arrived and had about 2 hours on the island. We went to eat at muella 7 and enjoyed it very much. However it didn’t leave us much time for anything else. We just walked to playa centro but didn’t have time to make it playa Norte which was close by. We met them back and the ride back was very enjoyable. They didn’t rush, played good music and provided several tequila shots lol.

Good crew- poor snorkel equipment and strategy - First the good news…The crew was friendly, accommodating and energetic. The drinks and snacks were good. The boat was clean and in good condition. My disappointment was as follows… - The snorkel was probably the cheapest model ever made and was hard to hold in my mouth. I have my own mask and snorkel because I’m a diver but, didn’t bring my own because it was advertised that gear was provided. - There were too many people for one in-the-water guide and there is no way in hell that beginner snorkelers should be doing a drift snorkel with no fins. Of course, it’s probably good there were no fins because everyone was constantly banging into each other as they tried to stay together. The current was pretty strong and, with no fins, it made it hard to get back to the boat ladder or wait for others to get on board.
