Friends were delighted with gifts : ) - Good. Enough time. Approximately 1.5 hrs. We were told that if we wanted to, we could stay for 2.5 hours and take the next bus to the hotel. I found Leyenda Brugal rum in this store, which was not in our hotel. This is the best Dominican rum! Large selection of goods. We bought what we wanted for ourselves and for gifts to friends.

Just what we need - Love it! Excellent service. The guys in the Chocolate's and coffee sections are awesome. Lots of different Dominican rum, liquores , cigars and coffee.

Good shop - Nice place to buy chocolate, wine, cosmetics and jewelry. People are very friendly, you do not feel pressured to purchase.

Lacking hand made crafts - The DR doesn’t have a lot of hand made crafts Like Mexico so the shopping was what I expected not much. Very small amount of trip tees and hats. Very little crafts. But they did have iced coffee which I was craving. No ac so a little stuffy. Driver was on time and quick to bring us back. Overall what I excepted and worth the trip for some gifts to bring home

Cigar, Rum, Chocolate tour - While I thought he were touring a true cigar factory, there were some good and not so enjoyable things about this. Learning about cigars was interesting and tasting different Rums and chocolates were fun, I didn’t enjoy the shopping aspect of it. Wish it truly was a tour of a factory to learn more about cigars and how made etc..

Don't even go, it's a scam - Expensive, poor service and poor quality clothing. They promise you a rum, cocoa and coffee tasting but if you don't come and ask for it you feel at all times that they are doing you a favor. The prices for European clients are exorbitant and when you express that they make you feel bad when what they should be charging according to what they offer - the Dominican Republic in general is prepared to rip off the visitor and if you don't know how to haggle much more than in Turkey they fry you at crazy prices. Furthermore, they change the euro at par with the dollar and that is not good. Tip even to breathe and I say “tip those who treat you well, serve you and respect you” therefore paying a TRANSFER to a store like this you can save it

Poor communication, incorrect pick up time and place, still waiting after two hours when we could have enjoyed the beach - Wrong hotel pick-up, two hours later than agreed. Poor communication by company - I do not recommend. I will update with our experience when we actually get on the tour, as of now it has been a wasted two hours where we could have enjoyed the beach and the sun. If you still choose to do this confirm the hotel pick up more than once, confirm the EXACT time, confirm the name and number of the bus and be very direct when communicating with the company - they will blame you and talk in circles.

Poor service - We were scheduled at 09 am, we were waiting at front since 0730, when I called they said that they had emailed me saying that they changed it to 11am. I was appalled bc I had set something else up. Viator didn't even care .
