Fun in The Dominican Republic - Our guide and the entire staff were polite and professional. The horses were well maintained and gentle. The ride was great The swimming with the horses was amazing. This was a really nice excursion!!! Thanks, we enjoyed the day!!

The best experience of our holiday!! - Unbelievable experience! We rode through the jungle, gave the horses a rest whilst we had a drink and a snack and then down onto the beach where we swam with them. The horses clearly love it too. They have over 100 horses which they rescue and keep very well. You get to meet them after. The instructions are amazing and we had a great afternoon out! You can buy photos after too which don’t break the bank, unlike some excursions! NB. If you book with Viator, check your pick up time. They put 9am start time on our ticket but no pick up time. It turns out that pick up time was 8.35!

If you kid wants to go - definitely do it. - Fun trip. The guide was great and the swimming was hilarious. Overall better than I expected. Bring a towel and buy the photos.

Awesome Experience!!! - I gave an excellent rating, because it was!!! Here's the improvements I would like to see the next time I come... You need a photographer! This excursion is much better if someone else is taking the pictures. Also, I would like to see video of myself riding the trails and in the water with the horse. That's it for my suggestions. Now! Let me tell you Josh and the crew did an awesome job! This was an absolutely AMAZING EXPERIENCE! The horses seem well taken care of and well trained! Fun Excursion - Really had a great time. The staff was friendly. Make sure if you are wearing short shorts or swimming attire you bring a towel to lay over the saddle to help prevent inner thigh burn.

Honest Review - As someone who grew up riding horses and playing Polo I both loved and struggled with this excursion. The way it worked for us was you arrived, got on your horses and rode through a wooded area for 45 minutes. There is a short span where you can walk along the beach. Then we got to the bay where you swim with the horses. Here you take a little break with some snacks and then you get to swim. You go around a circled area for probably around 3 minutes total. After that you ride the horses another 30-45 minutes back and they let you feed a few of the horses in the stable. It's always special for me to ride in another country and it was. However, our guide seemed annoyed by questions and conversation. He also wouldn't let people who had experience riding horses do anything. It was a hot 45 minute walk/slow trot to get to the water. This part of the tour should have been shorter with more time in the water. Out of the three horses chosen for us to swim on only one of them seemed skilled. The other two struggled in the water. My horse, DeLacey in particular brought it's head up repeatedly which busted my lower lip and bent my sunglasses. You can only hold onto a martingale like band around their neck anyway so I wasn't pulling the horse's head up by mistake. After that happened I asked to ride a 2nd horse named Olas or Olaf - he was an excellent swimmer but I only got to go on him for a minute. As I said before, I love riding horses but this experience was not worth the money to me. We paid $220 USD.

Swimming part far too short! - Not for an expierienced rider. Including transport the event takes about 5 hours and the swim with horse is only 2 minutes… very disappointing

Vendor was a no show. Will never use again - I wish I had pictures to share, but I don’t because the local vendor never showed up. Waited in the lobby for an hour and tried to call their number to no avail. They never answered. Just got a refund sent with absolutely no explanation of why they never showed.
