Contrast to the resort - This tour is like diving headfirst into the real Dominican Republic vibe! You get to see how the locals live – super friendly folks, even though they face some tough times financially. The itinerary keeps things moving, showing off all sorts of cool scenery while giving you moments to ponder life. The food we got at lunch was very delicious. The guides (Mike and I don’t remember the name of the driver) made the whole experience awesome! Gracias for the great day.

Great experience! - Great tour! Definitely got to see more of the culture away from the hotels. Well organized. We got to see and experience a lot of things-from cocoa, cigars, market, cathedral, and beach. Maybe a suggestion-More background explanation on the economy, history, religion and culture as we stopped to view each site.

Great time - This was an amazing experience the went a lot of places that most tourists don't see like an fresh food market and coffee bean plantation. Our guides Teo and Alvin did a great job explaining the places we went and they were very friendly. I would highly recommend taking this tour if you are visiting Punta Cana 👍🏿

Half day PC excursion was so worth it. Very fun. Very safe. - Bring comfortable clothes, including a hat in the heat. My driver Albin provided iced water bottles which was nice. First we ride horses. We went to a local market. We learned to roll cigars. I'm not even a smoker, but it was a fun activity. We visited a typical Punta Cana home. I'd recommend not buying souvenirs at one if the stops unless it's your only chance. It was overpriced and the employees very pushy. The church was huge!! Very impressive. The beach ⛱️ was lovely with many drunk, souvenir and food options. Albin the driver made everyone feel so comfortable. He shared facts along the drive and made sure we stuck together. I would definitely recommend this activity and Albin the driver specifically. He's multi lingual and Spanish and English were great. A wonderful day.

Excellent value - This tour met and exceeded our expectations. Alvin and Danilo were kind, helpful, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to assist and to show us around. Would definitely recommend it.

Punta Cana Safari tour April 1st - We had our safari tour with Alvin & Danilo. We thought we would get our tour in a “safari truck” and at the beginning we were a bit bummed out since we got picked up in a microbus. BUT wait… since the weather was super hot and the sun hits different in Punta Cana, we were very happy to have A/C. We had lots of fun, Danilo was very informative and entertaining. Our schedule consisted of horseback riding for a bit, went to the market (the real local food market - NO MICKEY MOUSE! NO BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!!!!) after that stop, we went to the River and had a Buffet lunch, then the tipical Dominican house, the cigar house where we made our own cigar and finally Macao beach. If you get these guys for your tour? It’ll be a fun long day!

Great tour! - My group of four really enjoyed our tour with Safari. The tour guide and driver were excellent. We enjoyed the variety of things to do and see on this tour. The highlight was the swimming cenote with delicious lunch and the horseback riding on Macao Beach. We also visited a plantation house and a church. Driving through the city streets was interesting in itself. Highly recommend those very reasonable full day tour and lunch.

It was the most... - It was the most disorganized tour I ever had. I had to hire a tour guide at Higuey since the assigned tour guide was clueless. The assigned tour guide had to decide with another one where to take us and what to do.

Not recommended - The operator was 45 minutes late. He said he was given wrong directions :(. The vehicle was is disrepair, it had to be jump started at one of the stops. :(. The stop at the Macao beach was a waste of time. Although the seaweed problem is non controllable, we were left to fend for ourselves. The guide said “go to the right” and then he disappeared. There was an area with no seaweed but we were dropped to far away for a 40 minute stop. Not a good time.
