Only way to experience Saona Island - The best way to experience Saona Island. Private van, to and from port, private boat with photographer. They were ready to make sure we had a great day and we did!

Family of 6, perfect for us. - This is perfect if you want to avoid the party / crowd atmosphere of the larger boats. We did a 6 person (family) private tour. There is a private car that picked us up from the hotel and transported us to the dock. It was busy there but our driver took us directly to our boat / guide. The boat got us quickly to each spot, usually ahead of the big crowds. Natural swimming hole, Blue Lagoon, snorkeling, Saona island, Lunch spot (private table, great food), back to the Blue Lagoon deeper out to see the star fish. They do take photos, which was a little exhausting, and sell them to you at the end. We bought for around $150. They are excellent and close to 300 photos. Tip the guide at the end and the boat driver / drink boy. Then private car back to the resort. Morning pickup was at 8:30 am and we were back at the resort by 5:00 pm.

Great experience - Very nice experience. We all had a great time. Everyone was so nice and made sure we enjoyed our time.

Must Experience Saona - Where do I even start, I first want to thank Sol Cana Tours for giving all 9 of my friends the best service and experience ever. They treated us like family , the day we went to Saona Ambioris Cruz our private driver really help us out and I thank him a lot. When you go to Punta Cana expect to party and drink a lot! We are lucky that Ambioris helped us with everything we needed going there and back, you treat them right they will treat you right !

Perfect Private Tour! Saona Island was Beautiful! - it was perfect! our tour guide was Max had 2 helper/bartenders on the boat, they had a professional camera guy, who took the best pics of us. they were all amazing, we had a group of 12. and he pretty let us do whatever we wanted. it was so nice doing the private tour and worth every penny. would highly recommend, I loved how we got around fast in the speedboat too. Bring sunblock!

This is a phenomenal private tour - We had a really wonderful time. The recommendations from the crew to flip flop the order of our stops meant that we had the entire island to ourselves for a period of time and that was magical and unexpected. Lunch was delicious and plentiful and we really enjoyed our time at the blue lagoon with the starfish. The captain was skilled, the drinks were refreshing, and the photos (which I didn’t realize were offered) turned out really nice. Saona is paradise and should not be missed. Highly recommended. I was SO thankful we booked a private boat for this trip. It was worth the extra money for us to avoid the super crowded catamaran tours.

Fantastic experience. - Sol tour was amazing! Great service, started with the driver who picked us up at the resort. He was pleasant and patient. Our tour guide was informative and knowledgeable. The staff was amazingly, caring and welcoming. The cruise started and ended on time, my family and had a great time from the moment we stepped into the boat to the moment we returned to the resort. Our private boat tour to Solana was outstanding and worth every penny. Beautiful island and well worth taking the time to see. I would highly recommend this boat trip to anyone.

The Best Part of Our Vacation - Our private excursion to Saona island was the best part of our vacation. The speedboat was blast especially for our two grandkids ages 12 & 13 as the calm sea allowed us to go 18 miles per hour, easily passing other boats along the way. We enjoyed the two natural swimming pools and the two stops for snorkeling. Lunch was at Saona, which was a treat. We really enjoyed this private tour because everything was on our own time, our direction and not have to fight for your own space . The crew was helpful, especially Max, who offered to carry my wife down and up the boat for all the stops because the boat stairs was difficult for her. Max also agreed to my daughter’s request to do a side trip to shop for semiprecious stones (she does jewelry). Back at the office, Antonio was also very helpful and knowledgeable. This was a great experience and would recommend it. The only negative was that one of us became seasick at the start, but that went away eventually.

Excellent trip to Saona Island - Overall we had an amazing experience on our private trip to Saona Island. The crew was so friendly and accommodating. They had music flowing the entire time and kept the beers coming. They took us to 3 stops one where we were able to hang out in the water right off the boat, one for lunch, and one to our final destination were we were able to hang out on the beach and enjoy the views. The lunch stop was amazing we were provided a delicious meal which included a fresh platter of fruits, rice, fried chicken, fried fish, and salad. From the staff to the over all experience I have no complaints would definitely recommend this excursion!

Disappointed - Unfortunately, we did realize that the speedboat trip to the island would be so rough and we had to turn back because our kids were so scared and one of our passengers had a bad back. We never made it to the island and we’re very disappointed.
