- El Limon - Considered the highest waterfall in the Dominican Republic, this spectacular cascade stands 140ft tall on the north coast of the Samana peninsula. It’s a sight to be seen and of course, experienced! This excursion is a wonderful exploration of the area as getting to the waterfall requires going thru the dense tropical forest, crossing rivers, and access to a second bonus waterfall. The pre-selected route is about 10 minutes longer but approaches the waterfall from the front. Approaching this exquisite waterfall head-on will have you in awe as you come face to face with all of its beauty. After descending down a long narrow path to the skirt of the jump you can leap into the refreshing natural pool and enjoy a relaxing crystalline water bath walk to cascade is about 3km. Approximately 45 min walk. uphill. One you reach the top you have an hour to cool off and enjoy the beauty limon has to offer

Best excursión ever! - We had an amazing time touring the island and riding ATVs for a full day . The staff was exceptionally professional and extremely knowledgeable about the island. They took us to eat lunch to a delicious restaurant and really enjoyed the experience. I felt safe with the team who stayed with us the entire time. The music on the boat added a whole new level of fun adventure. I would book again in a heartbeat. You won’t be disappointed!

Fun and interesting tour - The tour was so worth it, despite the very muddy track the waterfall was beautiful and our guide and driver were amazing. They made the tour so lively and special.

The best guide Rony - We did the Salto el Limón excursion, Tours of the 3 beaches (Fronton, Madame and Ricon-Caño Frio) and buggy tour (Devil's Mouth, Marble Mine and Rincon-Caño Frio Beach). Very very happy with the treatment received. Recommended 100%. Our guide Rony was the best, always very attentive and friendly. As if he were family. We will return without a doubt.

El Limon Waterfall Hike - Our best trip! The falls are spectacular. We were met at our place by our tour guide Anny and a driver. Anny speaks great English and accompanied us throughout the trip. They drove us to El Limon and we parked at the trail head restaurant and gift shop. We chose to hike in but horses are also available. There is another local guide assigned to your group also. The hike takes nearly an hour. You get to a river and there is a "rest stop" before you descend about 200 steps to the base of the waterfall. This is a surreal gift shop, bar and toilets in the middle of nowhere and "everything is 99% off!". We went in February and it had not rained much. It would be more challenging in wet weather. Lunch back at the trail head was included and it was the best one of our whole trip! The yucca fries and beans were amazing! Again we were returned to our hotel in style. It was also just a partial day trip, so we had time to catch afternoon on the beach. Recommended!!
