An enriching experience! - The walking tour of the city of Puno showed a much richer perspective of the city that you wouldn't have had if you walked alone.

Excellent guide - Our guide, Samuel, answered all of our questions about the city and explained us everything about Puno, the Uros and the islands in the lake Titicaka. He was very nice and funny. We can totally recommend him.

Nice walking city tour of Puno of the tourist areas and where the locals go. - Samuel was our guide and he did an excellent job. We happened to be the only ones on the walking tour that evening and it was very laid back. Samuel spoke 4 languages and took care to explain some of the history of Puno, how the invasion by the Spanish affected the region/peoples, and showed us the differences in the languages that are spoken in the region. We were able to walk to the main gates to the city and also discussed what the word Puno means (resting, or sleeping, place). Of interest was also the local market, where the locals go. The market was amazing and was organized by what you might be looking for (rows of butcher space, rows of quinoa, rows of potatoes. He also discussed the economy of the area, such as housing prices and where the locals eat, which was appreciated. We enjoyed all of the information and Samuel was very friendly. The tour was supposed to last about an hour but went to about 1.25 hours. Dress warm, as it gets fairly cold in the evening, including warm socks, head gear, and gloves.
