New, Interesting and Very cute - The route is from Puno, towards the south, bordering Lake Titicaca. We visited very interesting and non-touristy places, which makes it much more authentic. Our guide Pablo knew a lot about archeology and history, and in each place he gave us a talk or an explanation of what we visited. He took photos of us and took shots with the drone, which was very appreciated, especially for us, solo travelers. David and Pablo, good duo. It is an all-day tour, and if you then continue your trip to Bolivia, through Copacabana or La Paz, you can arrange to end the tour near the border, so you don't have to return to Puno. The entire Qhapaq staff was very attentive and concerned at all times. Thank you so much! I will recommend it and I will surely return.

Pre - Inca Experience - It was interesting to visit pre-Inca sites and learn more about the previous cultures and customs. Our guide was excellent. Although my Spanish was minimal, we all had a great time and experience.

The best tours plus reading about coca - Very grateful to this unique company in Puno. It saved us money and time since they have very good unconventional tours such as: City tour, which no one offers you Ruta Aymara, Ruta Quechua, Uros and Taquile. I am from Iquitos and I recommend staying for 5 days, taking into account the first day to acclimatize and then follow the advice of the specialists, in this case the Qhapaq bosses who will advise you very well on the excellent tours.

A tour I highly recommend - The "Route of the Aymara" tour was very interesting. From the mysterious site of "Amaru Muru" to the wonderful "Waru Waru", the "Cullpas de Molloco" and the "Temple of Fertility"....What made the tour so interesting was definitely my guide, Juan Carlos. He explained everything to me with professionalism and passion, he was very thorough in introducing me to the various sites, illustrating everything in detail and making me feel part of this mystical culture. He also made some spectacular Waru Waru videos for me with the drone. It all starts from here and from here we can create the basis for understanding the culture of this wonderful land.

Itinerary misleading, reality is worse - The tour itinerary we were sold was supposed to end at 3pm but once we were on the bus we were told we would be done at 5:30pm. This was partially because they added a stop to see a “Waru Waru”, that was not on the itinerary. It was just a drainage ditch of stagnant water and not worth seeing at all. Worse, it smelled horrible, there were animal droppings and bugs. The guide made it even worse when she took out her drone and insisted we all smile and wave while she took pictures, again and again, it felt like she wanted us to perform for her. They also added lunch in Juli which was not on the itinerary, it cost extra but the restaurant did not look sanitary at all. At one point a five year old was manning the grill. (We chose not to eat). Since we did not eat we waited outside and were “entertained” by locals mistreating stray dogs. It was inhumane and an awful thing to witness. As far as the stops that were on the itinerary: Chucuito Temple was interesting, but not impressive Molloco chullpas were nice, but the Sillustani site was far better which we had visited the day before. Portal de Aramu Muru was okay, but not really impressive. Made worse by the commercialization of what is meant to be a spiritual place. Juli is not worth visiting at all, the beach was gross, the town square is not worth even a moment’s stop, calling it the “Rome of America” is absurd If you want to see any of these sites (I wouldn’t recommend it, but to each their own) go ahead, but don’t use this company!
