Highlights

Once you are in your kayak , you will get instructions where to and how to go. Across our beach(where you start) is a island named Fratarski and behind it are two more named Fraskeric and Frasker. You can go around the islands or through the canal between the cost and the islands.

To go around the island and through the canal is roughly 2hrs. If you have rented a kayak for only 1hr. You can go around the first island and trough the canal and back in that time.

You can also stop on the islands pull the kayaks out of the water and go sightseeing for a bit ,cliff jumping or snorkelling. The tour is without a guide so you are free to chose where to go and when to stop to take a rest or just  enjoy nice sight. Keep in mind that you are on the waterway where boats go, so you need to be aware of your surrounding.

Additional Information

At Orca Diving, we provide storage for your backpacks and a secure facility for your valuable items, which are all part of the kayak rental package. Also, on the outside, you’ll find showers, toilets, and changing rooms for your convenience. Directly below our diving center, lies the breathtaking Verudela beach, a perfect place to spend your entire day.
We boast a wide range of kayaks for hire. These include sit-on-top and traditional models, single or double (and even triple) kayaks. We offer free kayak rentals for kids aged 5 to 8 years provided they’re part of a triple kayak rental.
Once you are set, one of our dedicated staff members will accompany you to the water’s edge and provide an orientation covering:

  • Acclimating with your kayak
  • Fundamental paddling skills
  • Various routes across the area
  • Safety guidelines and review
  • A cap or hat and sun tan lotion will be essential if you plan to spend a significant time (2 hours or more).
    As a treat to all our guests, we provide complimentary SUP sessions before or after your paid activities.

Great staff and great location - We rented 2 single-kayaks and were shown a route to take where we could go to small caves. We paid 10€ in advance for one hour and were told we would pay the extra hour(s) once we got back. We arrived after 2 hours (so a full hour longer than we had paid for) and when we asked about the payment they said it was fine, we didn’t have to pay the extra hour. Would definitely recommend! Very nice staff and nice route to take with small caves to go into and places to stop and rest on other islands.

Take a kayak and explore the amazing islands and caves! - I visited Orca with some friends as we wanted to have a little bit of an adventure! Orca dive team were very helpful. They told us all of the cool places to explore, where the secret little gems were and how to get there. We rented a couple of double kayaks and had so much fun we came back the next day to rent it again for a longer time. We explored the cave, fratarski island, fraskeric island and frasker island. Each one is beautiful, the sea is amazing, the entire experience was fantastic! TAKE SOME KAYAKS AND HAVE FUN!!!! Highly recommended!

Excellent way to spend the morning - We hired two double kayaks and spent two hours slowly working our way around the islands and into the caves. The water is so clear and still that it made paddling really easy. The staff were helpful and informative, loaning us dry bags, telling us the best route to take and where to explore and what we would need to take with us. We did not have to book in advance just turned up on the day. All we needed was water bottles, sunscreen and sunglasses. I would have loved to have tried the scuba diving as well but we ran out of time. Would thoroughly recommend. A lovely way to spend the morning and our two teenagers loved it as well.

Lovely staff and overall great experience - I rented a kayak with Orca diving centre and they were so lovely from start to finish. They held our bags and shoes for us and gave us a dry bag to bring our phones etc. The kayak and paddles were perfect and they showed us exactly where to go. My friend was a little nervous and they put her at ease.

kayak rental in Orca center - The service was very helpful. The only downside was the price 150hrk per hour for kayak rental when in other towns we've seen prices around 70hrk per hour (150 for 4h).

Expensive, they charge a lot per hour. - Verry expensive, no showers, u have to pay only cash... also a little bit racist man over there the old one.
