A great day out - Joaquin is a knowledgeable guide and we had a fantastic time and learned so much. My husband has mobility issues and Joaquin was very helpful in trying to accommodate him. We had a lovely day.

Great way to see Osorno - Such an amazing tour to see Mount Osorno and the surrounding areas! Small group, comfortable van with safe driver. Best part was our guide Camilla, who did a great job explaining everything in English to our family. You know a tour is great when the kids are sad it's over! Highly recommend this tour!

Volcanoes, lakes and falls, this is a must do. - Great introduction to the volcanoes rivers and lakes surrounding Puerto Varas. Our lovely guide was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The bus was comfy, and the lunch location very pretty. I definitely recommend doing the optional boat tour, and the (expensive but worth it) optional chairlift up Osorno volcano

Beautiful scenery and an excellent guide - Everything we visited on the tour was worth it. The views around Lake Llanquihué, the Osorno Volcano, the Petrohué jumps and the navigation through Lake All Saints had great beauty. I want to highlight the magnificent work of our guide Camilla. Throughout the tour he was informing us in detail of what we were visiting, also of the history, fauna and vegetation. Always trying to keep our attention and creating a good atmosphere in the group. Thank you Camilla

Knowledgeable friendly dual language tour guide. - Our driver, Joaquin, was delightful, and knowledgeable. Even better, the other passengers were lovely, engaging folks. Our guide would translate the questions and shared information from the Spaniard on board. The catamaran ride was peaceful and scenic, but nothing compares to traveling up the side of Osorno Volcano on a sunny day. We were glad we’d brought our jackets as it was a windy ride on the ski lift! Even for Alaskans it was chilly. The panoramic views were amazing. So glad we spent the day seeing this area! Especially grateful that Joaquin stopped every time the other woman (who was a gem) on the tour or I saw a fox or bird!

Underwhelming - Firstly this review is no reflection on our driver and guide Joaquin who was very good. For context the weather on the day of our trip was overcast and rained heavily for periods which clearly wasn’t ideal for seeing the sights. However, weather aside the itinerary isn’t that good, a couple of stops along the lake for photos, a very short stroll along the beach at end, with an optional extra boat trip which wasn’t a consideration for us given the low cloud and rain. The entry (fee not included) to the National Park, involved a very short walk around a circuit of less than 1km to see what was little more than large rapids rather than falls, and for us not worth the admission or time. The highlight should have been Osorno Volcano, however despite Joaquin delaying our drive up for a time in the hope the cloud would lift, it proved to be in vain. In fact the weather deteriorated into heavy rain and hail, ended any prospect of our group ascending to the summit on the ski lift. Instead we made for the shelter of the cafe which I’d be hard pressed to give 1-star. Lunch was taken at a typical tour stop restaurant, where the food and service were okay, but nothing special. Given we were advised that it rains around 200 days of the year, my advise would be not to book in advance until you had some confidence in the weather forecast if you choose to take this trip. Better, still just drive or taxi direct to the volcano as the rest of the trip isn’t that good.

Think twice before going if weather is not good. - We took this tour despite less favourable weather forecast for Osorno. The tour guide was great and very knowledgeable with excellent English. The car and driver were also excellent. The falls were also wonderful despite light rain. Then the guide insisted on going up to the volcano. We told him we would love to do something else if the weather is bad but he insisted on going up ("we should respect the itinerary "). When we reached the observation point there was zero visibility with pouring rain so we simply returned on our tracks. We then went to the green lagoon which was also great with interesting information. From there there was not much more to do (we decided to skip lunch) so we were back at the hotel before 2 PM. I think that if the weather was good or a proper substitute to the volcano would have chosen it would have been a much better experience for us.
