Great Trip! - We had a great time on this trip! Noah was extremely knowledgeable and he even able to tell us when we would be able to expect a whale to breach! Saw many whales but saw quite a few breaching towards the second part of the trip. All the crew and captain were extremely hospitable and friendly.

We saw whales January 2024! - We went out in the morning—definitely bring a light jacket and a towel to wipe your seat and sit on. We saw a good amount of whales! The crew was very nice and helpful.

Fun - We came to Perot Vallarta to celebrate a couple birthdays. The staff were great. We had fun on the ride. We got to seen a lot of whales.

Respectable whale watching - Had a spectacular time on the boat seeing whales from a reasonable distance. We brought binoculars (highly recommend) and enjoyed our snacks and drinks. It was a little concerning how close other boats get to the whales, and it felt bad when all the boats followed the same group. BUT our boat left the 10+ boats in search of other whales, found some, and continued to have a pleasant time.
Kudos to Vallarta Adventures and their large boat for following the rules, giving space and respecting the Megaptera novaeangliae (Humpback whale).

Blaring loud music and not safe for small children - They blared music at an uncomfortably loud volume almost the whole trip. I couldn't even have a conversation with my husband sitting next to me. The boat didn't have child sized life jackets for our kids. The boat was not safe for children with many gaps and openings where a child could easily fall overboard.
On several occasions the boat got way too close to the whales, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. They didn't even turn off the engines when they were within 100 feet of a pod of whales. I felt bad for the poor animals, they must have felt harassed with the loud engine, music, and the proximity of the boat. I've been on other whale watching tours with much more respectful operators. I don't think I'll ever go with this company again..
