- Los Veranos Canopy Tour - Travel from Puerto Vallarta to the Vallarta Botanical Garden, one of the most spectacular places in Mexico, where the country’s most visited collection of orchids is located.
Enjoy a walk along the banks of the Horcones river until you reach Los Veranos Adventure Park Site.
When you return to Los Veranos, purchase a hearty meal and a refreshing tropical drink at our riverside restaurant. Experience a tequila-tasting activity. Jump, swim, and cool off in the river’s natural pools and interact with our rescued animals in our Animal Sanctuary.

Must do - The hike was pretty good. Our guide had a lot of info on plants and insects along the way. The botanical garden is beautiful.

Beautiful, hike, not for children. - Really loved this experience. Gardens were beautiful and the hike in the Mexican jungle was fun. Wear your good shoes. Our guide was also very nice and knowledgeable.

Not a beginner hike! - This review is really for the experience and the tour guide. Mosquito was very helpful. (I didn’t ask for help but he made sure I had it). I asked the agent at the hotel about this hike bc the write up says it’s a beginner hike. The agent said it was an even trail without much climbing or elevation. This is soooo not true. It’s up and down and sometimes climbing steep small areas and scrambling over rocks. At times the steep areas also make you slide. So I’d call it intermediate with lots of elevation changes. It is NOT a stroll like the agent made it seem like. That said. It is beautiful. And I think if you like hiking. You will enjoy this a lot.

Amazing Experience - The botanical gardens were AMAZING! Our tour guide, Moskito, was a wealth of knowledge about Mexican plants and history! We enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The hike was fun and challenging, which was welcome after the bus ride. I would take 1/2 star off for the ‘bus’ ride to the destination, only because it was completely unexpected. The vehicle was open air, like a flat-bed truck with seats… safari-style. But the roads are cobbled and rough, so if your bones are brittle, take a taxi instead!

Wonderful experience - Absolutely a wonderful experience. The ride in on the safari truck was a bit interesting. Moskito was awesome. We learned so much about real Mexico. Took several photos of the beautiful flowers and landscape. Would highly recommend. And this is a hike, a fun one, but a hike.

Good guide but poor condition of route - I thought the guide was good but the condition of the route was not good. Much of it was very slippery. Also it included a part where we needed to walk by barbed wire, which was dangerous.
