You not only get to sample some amazing tequilas, you get to enjoy a tour of the actual distillery, seeing how tequila is made, and the actual plants the tequila will be made from when the plants are of age! Greg, the tour guide, is 1/20 Agave Spirit Masters in the world. This alone makes both the tour and the tasting the best in PV as you get to learn how to actually sample tequila as a tequila connoisseur would. Greg's passion for tequila is clear throughout the tour given in perfect English that makes you just want to start distilling tequila yourself! Excellent tequila tasting and tour - Highly recommend the tour at finca18. We were really lucky and happened to get a private tour with Greg where we learned all about agave, distillation process, history and culture of the tequila and mescal they produce on their beautiful farm. Definitely recommend paying the few pesos for the chocolate pairing with the tasting as it’s some of the best chocolate I’ve ever experienced. The farm is easy to get to by public bus from puerto Vallarta. Most buses in zona romantic and Centro stop off at the Walmart (10 pesos) where you can catch the C25 to las palmas (20 pesos). Driver will let you off at the farm and you can wave one down easily on your return trip. Also if you love dogs, Luna is a real sweetie

Some of the best mezcal and raicilla I have ever had! - The place is awesome. The mezcal/tequila is even better. Highly recommend a stop at this place! The tour guide is an American so communication is very easy. Need to Uber there and back but so what. It is worth it

Great products and tour - Hello everyone this review is long overdue I found this place while researching things to do for my birthday trip with friends and man what a find. Great Tour - We were transported from our cruise ship to the aquave farm and tequila distillery by taxi arranged by finca 18 for an extra charge, which was very helpful. The farm is a beautiful area where we walked with the guide who explain the history of the farm and the process of their distilling. After the tour, we tasted the different tequilas they produce with explanations about each type. The tequilas were paired with a variety chocolates which are locally produced. The entire activity from transport through the tour and tasting was excellent. We would highly recommend it. It was a highlight of our week.

Great Day Trip from PV - Had a GREAT time doing the make your own bottle tour. Learned a lot about agave plants and tequila distilling. The hosts were wonderful and the property was amazing. You cant go wrong doing a trip to Finca 18.
