THE BEST EXCURSION HANDS DOWN! - Truly I cannot express just how special this day trip is. Every little thing was magical! From the moment we met up with Jose Antonio & Yahir, we were made to feel special in every way. These awesome gents are so cool, engaging, knowledgeable, and just a total joy to spend the day with. We were taken to a funky, roadside farm stand for some candy tasting & little shopping, then off to the surfer town of Sayulita. After just a few hours there I can see why so many people want to permanently stay. It's so funky, hippy, old-school... We spent time at the hippy & local artisan market, had a shot (or 2) at Luna's Cafe, explored the town, and just enjoyed the good vibes of the locals. From here, we went to our very own secluded beach outside of town, and through, what felt like the jungle of coastal Mexico, we hiked a short distance to the most magical spot where we had private massages and our own, little camp spot for the day. JA & Yahir grilled us up the most incredible, traditionally prepared snapper, shrimp skewers, rice, beans, appetizers, cold drinks and so much more! I cannot brag about this trip enough! Oh, and did I mention the sweetest beach dog in the whole world? What a special little treat for a group of animal lovers! This day trip is a must-do when visiting PV and Sayulita. Thank you so much, Jose Antonio for making our day so very special.

Best Tour Ever! - I have been struggling to write this review as it is that good! I think this is the best tour in PV. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Jose Antonio Garcia Rivas and Yahir and just the best! From the beginning to the end, every detail was thoughtful and special. We were taken to a small roadside farm stand for a little shopping, then off to Sayulita for a couple of hours of exploring this awesome little community, shopping at the hippy market and artisan market. I can see why so many people come here and never return home. It's that special. We stopped off at Luna's Cafe and had a couple of tequila shots and then we headed out to Playa Patzcuarito. This was like stepping into a private paradise. There are just not enough !!! to describe how awesome this beach is. While here, JA arranged for us to have private massages on the beach while he & Yahir cooked us up the BEST traditional styled seafood, shrimp skewers, peppers, guacamole, rice & beans. Everything was prepared to perfection! We sat in cozy outdoor rockers with a nice, big sunshade to keep us cool. Oh and while we were enjoying our time at the beach we even had our very own beach dog that hung out with us. She was awesome! You can't plan this sort of special detail for a group of animal lovers. That was the cherry on top for us! Again, I cannot express enough just how special this tour is. If I should ever return to PV I will take this tour again. Thank you so much to Jose Antonio & Yahir. You both made this a truly magical experience!

Amazing Trip! - Jose was amazing from the start. Meeting at the Starbucks was easy, and Jose’s energy was so welcoming and joyful. He was informative on the drive, and the first stop at the fruit stand was awesome. Sayulita was great to explore. Then making our way to the more secluded beach, food Jose cooked was Amazing! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a more intimate experience in Mexico.

Beautiful town and amazing secluded beach - My husband and I were totally spoiled as the only two on this tour. From information about Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita to the absolutely amazing lunch on the beach, Tony delivered! The meal he made on the beach was (no joke) the best meal I've ever had! We, also, booked the natural springs and massage tour on a separate day and I'm so thankful we did! Tony has created a magical tour company and has an awesome crew of guides!

Fun Day Trip - Highly Recommend!! - This trip was a perfect way to get out of Puerto Vallarta when the cruise ships are docked. My wife and I enjoyed this for a many reasons. First, our guide (Sergio) picked us up in front of our hotel and we didn’t have to worry about transportation whatsoever. We stopped at a roadside fruit stand and Sergio showed and gave us samples of a few fruits. While Sergio picked up some fruit for our lunch, we purchased an assortment of fruits to take back to our hotel. We then arrived in Sayulita and got a few hours to take in the sights and shop the local markets. Sayulita is a quaint little town with a nice vibe, and if you’re looking for some locally made jewelry we found more artisans with nicer quality jewelry here as opposed to Puerto Vallarta. That took us to lunch time and Sergio drove us a short distance from Sayulita to a beach that we almost had entirely to ourselves. That’s where Sergio had a table, umbrella and cold drinks already waiting for us! Sergio then proceeded to grill up the fresh vegetables/fruits as well a shrimp and fresh red snapper. We got a few hours to enjoy the food, drinks and walks on the beach. We truly enjoyed our time Sayulita and beach time. We can’t say enough great things about Segio - he’s genuinely kind and really wanted to show us the best of Mexico on this all day excursion!

Beautiful unpopulated beaches - The beaches were pristine and beautiful, there are several close by (walking distance) that barely had anyone on them.

The most meaningful experience of our entire vacation - How to rephrase what everyone else has said…this will undoubtably be the highlight of our 10 days in PV. A fantastic study in contrast - from exploring the vibrant and intriguing chaos of the streets of Sayulita to suddenly and in only a few minutes being transported to a massive beach with less than 20 people on it with preset chairs and umbrellas and to be treated like royalty with an incredibly diverse and delicious meal by Antonio traditionally prepared on the same beach. He is gracious, immensely knowledgeable, well spoken, and a joy to converse with. To have him join us for our royal lunch was so appreciated. And just the two of us and him. We felt so privileged and part of something meaningful. Thank you Antonio, you have made a permanent warm memory for two Canadians.

Absolutely Wonderful ! - We highly recommend the Sayulita town and the Zarandeado sea food experience with Antonio. Antonio arrived on time to pick us up at the pick up location in the Zona Romatica. We then drove to Sayulita and just outside the town we stopped at an outdoor fruit and candy market to sample and buy a variety of local fruit and sweets. He then drove us to Sayulita and bought us pastries and coffee and gave us 2 hours to explore the little town of Sayulita. He then took us to a hidden away local beach which was the highlight of the trip. He set up beach chairs and umbrellas for us to be comfortable and let us enjoy the beach while he prepared the food. We were served 3 courses. First one was delicious fresh fruit which he had bought from the fruit market where we stopped earlier. The second was tostadas. The third was the delicious red snapper grilled in the zarandeado style, prawn kebabs, avocado and warm tortillas. That was one of the best grilled fish I've ever had. As a final touch, we were served delicious Mexican chocolate for dessert. Beer, Wine Coolers, Water and a special type of mezcal called Raicilla were served for drinks. There was so much food we couldn't even finish all of it. Antonio spoke perfect English so there was absolutely no problem with communication. Throughout the trip we were able to converse with him which made the whole trip even more enjoyable. This was one of the best things we did while in Puerto Vallarta and we highly recommend it.

Hospitable, Memorable, Excellent Food, A Must Do - This was our second trip with Antonio, last year we went to the hot springs with him and heard about this trip to Sayulita. When we came back to PV one year later we decided to book this excursion. As expected the experience was awesome, Antonio and Sergio picked us up on time and we started our journey. The drive was comfortable and we made a stop at a local fruit stand where we got to try different fruits and Mexican candies. After that we made our way into Sayulita where we were given a short tour and then had 2 hours to explore the cities and local markets. After the 2 hours, Antonio picked us up and took us to the hidden beach where a shaded picnic spot had already been set up on the beach. Sergio was already preparing food for us and cold drinks were waiting. The beach was wonderful, empty, and the food was great. We were first given a plate filled with fruit from a local market. Then the main course came out and which consisted of shrimp skewers, red snapper that had been marinated in a variety of spices (delicious), and all the fixings to make tacos. We then spent another hour or more at the beach, swimming, hanging out, talking with our hosts. What I enjoy most about these trips with Antonio is the ease, everything is already thought about ahead of time, there is no upselling or hidden costs, just sit back and enjoy the experience. The food is great, local, and fresh, you will not be left hungry. Antonio and Sergio are very accommodating, knowledgeable, hospitable, and downright good people to be around. It’s hard to be beat the value for this trip, I will definitely be going on another one with these guys.
