When the sun sets, the beaches empty, and night falls over Puerto Vallarta, the city comes alive with the sights, sounds, and smells of Vallarta’s vibrant food scene. Join our foodie guides as you stroll the historic streets of Vallarta’s oldest neighborhoods and sample a variety of tacos and sweet treats from the family-run carts and restaurants that helped build our city’s long standing reputation for great food.
You can plan on 5 savory food stops tasting 6 to 8 (depending on how adventurous you are) tacos/foods on your tour. You will also stop for fresh churros and hand made ice cream. Some of the foods and tacos you may find on your tour: arrachera, traditional pastor, cabeza, pork rib taco, enmolada, tacos dorados, adobada, ice cream, and churros.

Vallarta Eats Taco Tour - We loved the Vallarta Eats Taco Tour!! Gustavo was awesome and very knowledgeable of Old Vallarta. He taught us so much about the history of Puerto Vallarta and introduced us to some great taco vendors that were off the beaten path! We will definitely be doing this again the next time we come and will visit some of these places on our own as well!

Must do! - Had such a great time! Kevin and Stephen were so friendly and knowledgeable- we felt like we were hanging out with friends:) The food was fantastic and not places we would have found on our own and we learned so much about the different ways of preparing the dishes. Highly recommend!!

An essential dinner option in PV! - Our group of 4 adults LOVED this tour let by Gustavo. Food was delicious and it was so fun and interesting to learn about the different cooking styles and techniques and the history of Puerto Vallerta. Plenty of time to ask additional questions of the guide about everything we saw and ate. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who likes good food. Completely safe locations. The guide knows everyone! The distance traveled is not far but the streets are cobble stone so sneakers are a good idea.

Amazing food, fun evening experience, and wonderful tour guide! Will recommend to everyone! - This after dark taco tour was fabulous! The food was amazing and Ricky our tour guide was so polite, Professional and knowledgeable. We were so full by the end of the tour because each place gave great portions. I read past reviews that said to “come hungry” and boy was that ever true! Even people with BIG appetites will definitely get enough to eat. I HIGHLY recommend this tour as a “Must Do” when visiting here. It was a delightful experience and if I am ever back in PV, I will definitely book it again.

Delicious and Authentic Taco Tour – Come Hungry! - We had a great time on the taco tour in Puerto Vallarta! The food was absolutely delicious, and each stop offered a truly authentic taste of the local cuisine. There were seven stops in total, and every one of them had generous portions of amazing tacos and other treats. Even though we came hungry, we were stuffed by the end of the tour—there was so much food that we couldn't finish it all!
The tour was well-organized, and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the different dishes. However, we wished there had been a bit more information about the history and culture of Puerto Vallarta itself. It would have added another layer of richness to the experience.
Overall, it was a fantastic way to explore the local food scene, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta. Just be sure to come with a big appetite!
