Celebrate your memorable occasions while making new international friends. You’ll be guided by our accompanying host to the most popular gay establishments in Puerto Vallarta. Your options range from a drag show pub, an all-men’s cabaret (optional), a go go lounge, tranquil pubs with open-air sections, or a bear and leather pub. Opt to kickstart your tour with our widely loved package: a custom-made meal accompanied by two beverages and an exciting, sultry bar hop game during dinner.
Kindly note, this tour caters to men only. If you have a group that includes women, private tours can be organized with prior notice and planning. If your booking includes any females, please notify us.

- The dinner option will be eating inside Studs Bar. The food is good but we are not attempting to provide fine dining, gourmet meal items.

Highly recommend this walking tour - The perfect way to introduce oneself to the gayborhood if your visiting Puerto Vallarta for the first time. Located in Old Town Colonia Romantica district.
Very lively district with lots of gay venues, bars, strip joints and delicious eateries.
I had a wonderful guide from Mexico City whom always had my back, laid back and easy to talk too. His english was very good. Enjoyed this tour immensely.
The drag show was by an American performer whom was good and quite knowledge and likeable. She poses for pictures with you afterwards.

Personalized tour experience - Max and Douglas were great tour guides! We did this tour on our first night in PV to get the lay of the land for the rest of the trip. We ended up in a couple of bars we wouldn't have otherwise and had a great time!

Puerto Vallarta Gay Bar and Dinner Tour - This was a great way to become acclimated with the gay bar area of Puerto Vallarta. Tim had our tour well organized and his tour guides were fabulous. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone coming to Puerto Vallarta for their first visit. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Fantastic Intro to PV Gay Bars - While we have visited PV before, we wanted to learn about the gay bar scene and this was the best decision to do just that! Tim provided thoughtful guidance to make the most of our evening. Max was the best tour guide who customized the itinerary to make sure we had the best time and celebrate my partner’s birthday! For the rest of the trip, we now know what where we want to return and explore because of this tour. We cannot recommend this activity!

An Amazingly Great Time - Could not have hoped for a better experience! Our hosts Tim and Max first sat with us to ask the types of places we’d like to visit. We opted for the dinner first (a good idea if you’ll be drinking all night). Really awesome meal! Then we began our bar visits starting with La Reina, a great local haunt. The bars got more and more fun and we ended our night at an awesome place with a pole dancer not to be believed and great views of PV. I’ve been to the city many times but never found time to actually do a gay bar crawl. So glad we did and Max added local info and gay history which made ir all better. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Great time, especially if you're solo or a first timer! - Highly recommend this, especially if you're traveling solo or if you're gay and it's your first time to PV. If so, be sure to do this on the first night or two of your trip as that will unlock so much more for you the rest of your stay. Tim and Max were great and highly knowledgeable about the gay scene in PV. You could ask them any and all questions, and they'd give thoughtful/honest answers. I left this feeling super comfortable exploring the rest of the gay scene here like a bird learning to fly for the first time.
The provided dinner was really delicious - had a great appetizer and a delicious seafood dish. A good base for the drinks to come! We went to a handful of bars and had drinks provided at each one, and Max had some really great insights into those bars but also the ones we didn't go to as well. Tim gave us some sweet Andrew Christian swag too.
Ended up hanging out with the other person on the tour after we wrapped and had one of the best nights of my life (no exaggeration) exploring the gay scene in the Romantic Zone. Highly recommend!

Great experience! - We had a great experience bar hopping with Gay Vallarta. Both Tim (who met us for just the beginning of the tour) and MJ who was our main guide for the night, were very considerate and engaging. There were just the two of us, and as we were having dinner at a restaurant before heading to the bars, they made sure we discuss the bar options for the night. They really tried to make sure we get to experience what we were mostly interested in when it comes to local gay bar scene.
I personally really enjoyed the life Reggie music at La Catrina.
I’d definitely recommend doing this tour. Especially if you’re visiting PV for the first time.

Super Fun Tourt - My husband and I had an amazing time on this tour! I booked it for his 40th birthday as a surprise. Tim and Max were the best hosts. They are very knowledgeable about the PV bar scene and were tons of fun. They even planned a surprise birthday game for my husband! The group we were with were also fun people. In fact, we went out to the bars a few nights in a row after the tour, but we had more fun with tour than when we went on our own! Definitely book this tour, you will have a blast.

PV Gay Bar Tour - Very lively and diverse gay mens scene in PV! Our host Tim was very knowledgeable about the PV bar scene which was interesting and helpful...The group was the 2 of us, the 2 guides and one other local couple who knew Tim. We would not rate this as VIP, (adequate dinner, no reserved areas at the bars, and the real sin was the drinks were terrible so I switched to cervesas). Could’ve done all of this on our own…

Misleading advertising - I would have given this 3 stars but gave 1 star because the advertising is misleading. You can pay $75 for just the bar tour, or $145 for bar tour with what is advertized as a 3 course dinner and 2 top shelf drinks. For the additional $70, one would expect a sit-down dinner at a nice restaurant (especially given that they claim it's a 3 course meal). Instead, they brought the food from a place next door to a bar. It was not 3 courses - I had enchiladas that I later saw cost 200 pesos ($11.76). Furthermore, they were not top shelf drinks, but simple margaritas in plastic cups at a bar. Oh, they also downgraded the menu from what they first advertised. They refused to refund me the portion I had asked for stating that I also got 2 top shelf drinks - again, 2 margaritas in plastic glasses which would have been( served anyway as it was a stop on the bar tour itself. You can go and enjoy the bar tour, but please be aware about paying an additional $70 for a meal.
