Highlights
- Mr. Cream Pancakes & Waffles - Meet your guide and group at the marina at 8:45am (or 1;20pm) to depart no later than 9am( or 1 30pm). Your guide will introduce you to the wonders of humpback whales and the environment on board a boat, as the captain starts looking for whales.
As soon as whales are spotted, you will get close. You will also learn interesting facts about whales and you can ask any questions as your guide will surely explain all that you see. Throughout the tour, you will try to find different groups of whales, but all depends on Mother Nature. Each spotting can last up to 30 minutes in order to have a responsible whale watching activity.
Lunch is provided around noon when the boat turns into a 360° marine view deli-restaurant. You will be back to the marina around 1pm, after having had a lot of fun.

Enjoy a private marine eco-activity where you’ll be able to witness the power and gentleness of magnificent animals: Humpback whales. You will be guided into the wonders of whales, by a specialized guide ( biologist, naturalist, ecologist) The boat is 27feet long, with cabin and a bathroom. It also has an observation tower. The tour will follow the regulations for the activity, so you will enjoy it as much as possible, without disturbing the whales. Join in and meet these amazing and graceful giants and become a responsible whale watcher!

Boutique Whale Viewing Experience - The whale watching with Vallarta Natours was excellent. Their 32' boat has many comfortable places to sit and provides terrific whale viewing. Our guide Victor was engaging and had interesting knowledge of whale anatomy and behavior. The captain always kept a respectful distance from the whales and was skillful regarding maneuvering the boat for optimal viewing. Victor's knowledge of whale behavior, in particular regarding being able to predict when they would surface after a dive was uncanny and enhanced the experience greatly. I would highly recommend a smaller boat over a large tour group boat so as to not have to compete for an optimal viewing position. They also provided a homemade lunch and remembered we had both a vegan and vegetarian in our group. I feel lucky to have found Vallarta Natours for my family's whale viewing experience while in Puerto Vallarta.

Best puerto Vallarta whale watch - Our guide, a biologist, was very informative. We got and education about whales. Our guide participates in a community science project, uploading pictures of flukes to identify individual whales. We saw several females with calves and some males that were interested in the females! We saw breaching and lots of tail flukes. It was a great time. I highly recommend

Great Whale Watching Education and Fun - Had a wonderful informative time - the boat is comfortable and Thalia brought homemade sandwiches plus hibiscus drinks. We saw dolphins and rays and many whales. Whale watching included a calf breaching in play to a competition pod (multi males pursuing a female) - the team explains everything we are seeing and hearing. They also educated us as to their research and guidelines to ensure the whales are not harassed. Definitely recommend - we went in the morning as the ocean is calmer.

Amazing Whale Watching Experience - Toured with Peter and the boat captain. Great experience. Thirty-three foot boat with double engines. Could move efficiently around the bay. Went in the afternoon. Just us and one other couple. Saw lots of whales, dolphins and a turtle. Excellent information provided. Experienced a double breech. Amazing. At one point we were encircled by whales. We observed a mother with her baby in the "nursery area" of the bay between Bucerias and La Cruz. A sandwich, chips, and a drink were provided. Much better experience than on a catamaran with a 100 people or more. Highly recommend. Will return with other friends.

Best whale tour in Puerto Vallarta - Thalia and Angel were absolutely amazing. It’s evident in everything they do that this is their passion. She was so informative about every aspect of the tour, if I had the chance to do it again I would. We saw 3 sets of mothers and their calves, I believe, as well as 4 males competing for a female. Every part of this tour was amazing.

Easy, fun day - We were really worried about taking my parents who have trouble walking. The only all from where we meet the driver to the boat was very short. Also getting in and out of the boat was not hard at all for them. The trip was amazing! The guy told us more about whales than I have ever heard. We saw a couple different groups of whales to. It was a ton of fun! We will do this again if we get the chance.

Whales, turtles and more! - If I could give 10 stars I would! Thalia’s knowledge and love for the bay and all that surrounds it is clear. Can’t even count the number of whales we saw! All well within the safety guidelines for her clients and most importantly the wildlife who make the bay their home. Will return each time we return to PV. Trust your trip to the best!

Incredible tour! - Thalia, the owner and our guide was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She explained the habits of whales and we were able to see many whales displaying these habits. Thalia and the captain, Angel, were experts at finding the whales and were diligent in their efforts to ensure that we followed the whales in a manner that did not cause them distress. The tour itself was incredible and the best part was when we saw a momma whale teaching her baby whale how to breach! What a great experience for our family and we had a very nice lunch with snacks on our way back to the marina. We have been on several whale watching tours on our trips to Puerto Vallarta, but this was by far the best tour ever.
